If they add San Diego State and SMU does it matter if Oregon & Washington leave ? Then as you said the 4 corner schools will then domino to the Big XII. The PAC 12 LOSES 6 schools they would become the MWC with a PAC 12 Mask on
SMU is essentially a guarantee to be in the Pac 12. Sadly there are a lot of things that need to be ironed out regarding the TV rights deals before SMU and SDSU can be formally invited to the conference but those two schools will be Pac 12 very soon.
@@trfisher51 LOL- I like Tulane, my Great Grandfather was valedictorian of Tulane law school. My kids' mother went there. And they are a very good next up. But Tulane is not a better school than SMU. The should add: SMU, Tulane, Colorado St, UT-SA, and if still on the table: SDSU, & Fresno.
@@vernonsheldon-witter1225 I know they won’t be raising the $$$ the PAC will get in their TV deal, not sure SDSU will either. If they expand they will just have to cut the pie two more ways.
@@vernonsheldon-witter1225 SMU has a lot of potential. It would get the PAC in the heart of Dallas/Ft Worth Texas and give them a boost in interest since they’ll now be a member in a P5 conference. Add Tulane and they are now in New Orleans as well. SMU has history, it can happen again. They both fit the academic requirements and they add two highly rated tv markets located in the south.
I know you don't cover the NHL much, but you should really consider doing a video on the Arizona Coyotes arena saga. There've been plenty of issues with the Coyotes and Glendale over the years and now their new arena proposal in Tempe just got denied by public vote. There's a huge possibility of relocation and I think you would do a great job covering it. Just my 2 cents.
The possibles to the SEC: 1. FSU 2. Clemson ______ 3. UNC 4. NCSt ______ 5. Miami-FL 6. Louisville 7. GaTech 8. VaTech 9. UVA Doubt the SEC wants Duke or Wake. Maybe Big12 takes Duke or Wake.
Pac12 will delay themselves out of SDSU, so they likely wind up in the Big12 by July 1. Big12 also picks up UConn and maybe Fresno St. Boise & UNLV are not out of the question for Big12 either. If Colorado jumps, then add Colorado St.
Growing up, i thought the conferences was locked in stone. Maybe because of academics or even geography, moving around waa unthinkable. College sports is a multi million dollar money grab/scam. Im hoping my alma mater, Penn, leaves the ivy and joins the Pac "12"!! With those millions of dollars flowing in, tuition is sure to go down right?? Lol
No way anyone of those school going B12.The You Tube Experts want that but it will not happen. If ACC breaks up the leftovers will add some P5 schools along with a few G5 and keep the ACC intact and maybe change the name. B12 looking for any P5 school to join the new G5 conference they are trying to form over there to get some kind of creditability. A New ACC has contact problem not a fan base problem. They will still be P5 so no point going to B12 at all.
Pac 12 should add most of the Mountain West schools, go to pac 20 have two divisions and make a larger TV deal. Or they need to merge with the Big 12. Pac 12 alone the way it is now I don't think it going to last long.
I think San Diego State and UNLV will likely leave the Mountain West Conference and replace soon-to-be new Big Ten teams UCLA and USC in the Pac-12 Conference.
this AD has already been `shamed for false statements in the past on this subject. Nobody listens to him or a couple of others anymore, because everything they've been saying has been complete B.S. Washington and Oregon are as good as gone. Talk is cheap. Either the money is there, or it ain't. It isn't there now, and it isn't going to ever come in the needed amount. The TV platform hasn't even been addressed yet, and everything we hear, is it's going to be an embarrassingly bad offer in all aspects. The writing has been on the wall for months.
The Big XII, since its founding has lost SIX of its top schools; but somehow managed to keep going. The game isn't catching up to the B1G and SEC at this point: The game is surviving. SDSU gets the PAC back in Southern California, which is essential for the conference in terms of recruiting both students and athletes.
They will not be able to if they don't get their butts in gear. As of June, their exit fees go up to 40 M. I don't think the PAC will have their crap together by then or has enough money now to pay the MWC for SDSUs exit fee.
As a SDSU fan and former student I wouldn't be shocked if we still stayed in the Mtn West Conference but we'll see what happens
Then you will be shocked

One would figure Tulane would be a better get than SMU, better school, strong research school, better team and so on.

I'd find it hilarious if southern Methodist and California Berkeley ended up in the same conference
Cal was in the same conference as a Methodist school for three decades.
Yea.. kinda like BYU..n TCU in the same conference. When I lived in tx, i remember folks calling the Mormons a cult. Lol
This guy must be laughing. They both ended up in the ACC 🤣

Just saw the new video. You’re the man!
Good recommendation 👍
If this happens the big 12 basically becomes the new big east from the early 2000s
The problem if it’s not before July 1 San Diego St has to pay 45 million. They won’t. They are in trouble.

Does anyone think SDSU wants to pay $51m to the Mountain West or wait to join the PAC in 2025? Somehow I doubt it.
I just said the same thing in the shorthand. I'd want SDSU to leave but I can see us staying in the Mountain West Conference
@@JK_Rosser_LV You are going to the Big12 if not the Pac12, before July 1.
Do a video update on the new college football video game that Drop today by ESPN

If the Big10 & SEC decide to add ACC schools the Big12 is going to add schools like VT, NCST, PITT, Louisville, and maybe more.

SDSU is a good school, but no where near the level the Pac 12 needs to replace USC and UCLA,

They can't replace those schools they are just trying to stay afloat even with them they couldn't compete in a bad time zone always been that way.
Pretty sure everyone knows that. But its the best socal market for them rn

They will give Washington and Oregon every game on linear TV (the only linear TV games) and an unequal revenue share and survive
Does the Big10 really want USC, Rutgers, Washington, and Miami Fla. in the same conference? That looks more like an amateur NFL.
Conference expansion DG is BACK
Problem is they dont add value or viewers
By July 1, SDSU will be in the Big12 if not part of Pac12 by then.

what about the american conference?
miami should be independent
FRESNO STATE TO THE BIG 12
Miami going to B1G
