Just to let you know if you want your farms to be lined up to the grid block thing you can place a stone wall on the 2nd layer that the conveyor is on and they will bump against the wall and line up against the grid. Also you can do this with regular cooking pots aswell dont have to be the autocooker just need craft connectors and stuff from a chest to the cooking pots And you can also use rotating saws and do 2 wheat fields 8 tall beside each other and put a rotating saw bot in there with walls on the 2nd layer preventing it from escaping and as soon as they grow they get harvested since the bot stays active and stuff like that.
I added 2 stacked wheat fields, put belts infront of it directing to the cooker entry and walls behind the belts with absorbers on the walls so that the wheat will be dropped on the belts.Then you can easily put 2 Craft connectors on each side of the Chest that catches the Flour so you can have 2 Aging facilitys run at the same time. Maximizes the output of Bioethanol. I figured that with your setup you'll have an excess of flour. Thank you for your video and the content! Was really helpful

Hey dude! I’m on Xbox, followed your tutorial to a tee, and when my crops are harvested, I get about 20 wheat from all 8 crops. So 1 bioethanol. 😬 I hand harvested 8 and got about 3x that. It might not work on Xbox.
@@jesseharriman6783 the concept of it works, it’s just not as efficient. I’m still getting bioethanol from my 4 farms, but I’m not getting 240+ wheat per harvest as I should be. I’m getting about 80.
@@PeachEditzz for xbox, make 2 stacks of 4, and makesure your reapers do not act at the same time. thisall comes from the limited number of items on the floor on xbox (i believe it's 32 max)

Indeed! However with stacking it's not really necessary, I would also suggest taking a look at one of my more updated bio farms to see compacting wheat fields 😊

Hey man, so Console currently has a item floor limit of 32, however that will be changeable when the winter update drops on console, so if your on console i would advise only stacking 4, or have 2 stacks of 4 finish at separate times to minimise floor items Thank you very much, that's very kind of you, Happy new year to you and if there is anything else i can help please don't hesitate to ask 💚
That is quite an ingenious idea using conveyors to place farms ontop of one another. I figure you could do this with normal farm plots for seeds? Ive been playing craftopia for about a month now and just figured this out. Thanks, i was more focused on buildung actual good looking housing rather then farming but this will save loads of time instead of doing it all normally like you were explaing in the beginning. Craftopia is such a... good combination of games that people liked or enjoyed and just went "combine them and keep the anime/cartoon styles" really good game. I just wish multiplayer was a bit more stable. And a piece of advice because i learned this the HARD way. If you exit and save(i play on console btw) and before you get to the actual craftopia menu with the world treasure and the motorbike, if you switch to another game you'll lose your save data. 9+ hours of exploring/looting/progress gone. Let your saves save lmao XD love the video keep it up. You seem like a pretty ingenious guy.
Thanks for the info. Very helpful. Don't multiply this by 30! I did, and had to take it apart for the lag. It lagged really bad. And I have a really good PC. :) I only used 1 cooker but it seems the conveyor bets may be the issue or the suckers.
oh wow 😂 yeah conveyors and absorbers are the worst for frame rates at the moment, the absorbers have an update coming though where the stream it shows is smaller so less particles on the screen

you can stack but on console you can now only stack 4 as you wont get more than 32 wheat due to them adding despawning to help with lag, you can indeed yes! 😊
I literally came back to comment, and i will say this gave me something to build on. Placing 8 stacked makes wheat glitch under the plots. Stack them in stacks of 3 in a straight line and use a conveyor system to move the wheat blown up my fans. Only plot that doesn’t need a fan is the plot facing the absorber on the big machine.
If you get two more droppers you can add two more sets of wheat farms and have three going at once and position them on the very edges of the auto cooker
Just make sure the storage box is in line with the aging facility, also make sure the craft connector is connected to a chest then snapping to the aging facility not the other way around
Depends where from, Craft connectors cant work from containers and at the time of making this video containers only had 20 storage spaces so we never used them, a container as the final chest would work great now they are bigger though :)
Idk if its different on PC but you are limited to just 4 squares of crops on the ground. Anything else past that starts to delete previous crops, so anything more than 4 is wasted
This wasn't the case when this guide was made though but unfortunately the gamepass version got nerfed big time when it wasn't running correctly at the end of last year 😫 glad they're bringing a setting with the winter update to increase the floor item limit though as my advanced bio ethanol farm is up to 30 plots in 1 spot so I want gamepass/windows to be able to do those builds too 🤞
It only works correctly if you use 4 farm squares because the water and reaper doesn't reach all 8. You can spread out 8 and harvest then look at the number of wheat you get vs a stack of 8.
I believe that's the current state of console yes, but steam can still do 8 stacks, console has an floor item limit of 32 but once the winter update drops on console you will have a setting to increase the floor item limit
I’m seeming to have issues with getting the absorber to pull the Bioethenol out of the aging facility and into the chest. I’m moved the absorber/chest closer as well as farther away and nothing seems to work :( And ideas on how to fix?
Funny enough you don't even need conveyer belts if your reaction time is fast enough. I'm pretty sure people already know this but you can just place them on top of each other if you press place the moment the top of the field is blue. I've been able to put 10 on top of each other and im pretty sure you can keep going past that
I'm the beta version on Xbox....I have everything setup but the laser isn't connecting to my aging and I don't see auto craft when I try to set up the ethanol production....not sure why it's not working....I have them pretty close to make sure the laser will connect but it's not. Any help would be great. Awesome vids btw

Can't get this to work on Xbox I don't get 8 fields worth of wheat I saw someone say u need to do 4 in two places but how will u get both in the the machien do u just do a stack behind the other one will the observer collect the stack behind
I would advise just using 4, not 2 stacks of 4, sure if you get the timing right you could make this work but it's really not needed, I would just drop down to 1 stack of 4, console has an item floor limit so after 4 wheat plots are harvested, any more will despawn to prevent lag, a setting is coming soon allowing you to increase the item floor limit
Ok I am on XBOX prob I have is how do/does the aging facility auto make Bioethanol? normally you have to select it when it is a stand alone unit. Am I missing something? when you attach linker do you then auquire option in aging unit to set it to auto make Bioethanol or what??????
The chest won't allow you place an absorber on it?? That's a bug, you should be able to place thousands of absorbers on one chest, I would advise rebooting your game, try a different world etc as it shouldn't be doing that 🤔
I got the idea to make a factory by placing this next to a battery farm. Ended up exploding green mono's everywhere and crashing my game. Guess the sprinkler was a little to close..
Well I am frustrated. The reaper doesn't work on xbox. The animation is there but it doesn't cut anything. Tried using the saws but as soon as it cuts the next field previous field wheat disappears before it can be sucked into the chest. So manual wheat farming continues.
@@Caztecx I put another 4 in the gap between the cooker and had them growing 20 seconds after the first 4...So i get 64 every few mins...none were getting caught. I put the cutter on the middle plots on the side and had the sprinkler in the middle of both sets of pliots.. Works like a charm:d
Make sure you have selected "auto craft" inside the aging facility, also make sure you have enough wheat flour in the chest, it will only send it over when there is enough to make 1 bio ethanol
Doesn't work on console. If you pop more than 3 wheat fields the wheat starts to disappear like it only allows a max of 30ish wheat. Now I may be crazy but I've attempted quite a few times even with side by side fields and doing them by hand. Idk

console seem to despawn a lot of stuff if it too close. evin if it not stacked like this an you lose a crap ton. plus the stacking it higher than ur shown for the same number an the stuff get stuck inside of the stack tryed doing hafl like 4 an it still got stuck inside. puller or absorber dose not bypass it. an evin with out stacking the reaping machin sooner or later get pushed out of range of the plots. tryed many time every time something grows it slowly get pushed out. really hard to try thing when stuff is broken
For sure! the mass of mobs is kind of crazy especially when its like chickens, cows and sheep most of the time, also particle effects should of been one of the first things they disabled
How can I let my stuff continue to produce even when im not on my island? it stops when im not on the same island. Can I put a animal or something I tamed next to it for it to not stop?
Everything works exept the part where it takes the bioethanol out once its made and into the final chest i have done everything you said but it wont work any soulutions?
you need a Dropper on the Aging Facility, that will shoot the bio out, you then collect it however you want, thats the same with every build that creates something :)
Console/gamepass/windows has a floor item limit so instead of 8 stacks, use 4, it's still very fast and will save any being lost. (New setting coming soon allowing you to increase the item floor limit)
Omg I'm dumb, I somehow missed the part about using conveyor belts to drop the fields and I ended up using a glitch I found by accident that i thought he was using. By pressing the build key right as move the camera to the right over the first plot I put down -_-
This process is much more efficient if you add 1 additional Aging Facility with a 2nd crafting connector attached to the wheat flour chest. Otherwise the Aging Facility becomes the bottleneck.
it depends what platform you are on, but you could also say its more efficient to add another 8 wheat fields.... I'm not guiding you how to make it the most efficient I'm guiding you on making it work, to make it even more efficient dedicate a whole biome to it and have thousands of bioethanol being made every second
Whats not working for you? the stacking? i believe on console they now slightly move when stacked, but make sure you have no walls around it as they seem to move towards a wall, or if you have no walls close to it, then place a wall at the end to secure it in place
@@Caztecx I just figured it out. I like to make my bases with grid mode off because I like the aesthetic of building with the landscape. You can't place wheatfields on something not aligned with the grid. Once I aligned part of my base with the grid, I was able to do it.

you can stack but on console you can now only stack 4 as you wont get more than 32 wheat due to them adding despawning to help with lag, you can indeed yes! 😊
I literally came back to comment, and i will say this gave me something to build on. Placing 8 stacked makes wheat glitch under the plots. Stack them in stacks of 3 in a straight line and use a conveyor system to move the wheat blown up my fans. Only plot that doesn’t need a fan is the plot facing the absorber on the big machine.
are you console or pc? my wheat doesn't get stuck at all on steam and consoles you only do 4 high anyway
If you get two more droppers you can add two more sets of wheat farms and have three going at once and position them on the very edges of the auto cooker
If you mean attaching the Droppers to the Autocooker then you can do that now yes but not at the time of making this video
So I built this set up in my world, I am playing on a newer version of the game on Xbox. Had to make a few quick modifications but got it working.

I'm on XBOX too and I can't get the craft connector to snap to the box, is there a trick?
Just make sure the storage box is in line with the aging facility, also make sure the craft connector is connected to a chest then snapping to the aging facility not the other way around

Depends where from, Craft connectors cant work from containers and at the time of making this video containers only had 20 storage spaces so we never used them, a container as the final chest would work great now they are bigger though :)

Idk if its different on PC but you are limited to just 4 squares of crops on the ground. Anything else past that starts to delete previous crops, so anything more than 4 is wasted
on xbox thats the case, until the winter update. Steam can go up to 30 plots though

This wasn't the case when this guide was made though but unfortunately the gamepass version got nerfed big time when it wasn't running correctly at the end of last year 😫 glad they're bringing a setting with the winter update to increase the floor item limit though as my advanced bio ethanol farm is up to 30 plots in 1 spot so I want gamepass/windows to be able to do those builds too 🤞

It only works correctly if you use 4 farm squares because the water and reaper doesn't reach all 8. You can spread out 8 and harvest then look at the number of wheat you get vs a stack of 8.
I believe that's the current state of console yes, but steam can still do 8 stacks, console has an floor item limit of 32 but once the winter update drops on console you will have a setting to increase the floor item limit

I’m seeming to have issues with getting the absorber to pull the Bioethenol out of the aging facility and into the chest. I’m moved the absorber/chest closer as well as farther away and nothing seems to work :(
And ideas on how to fix?
You need a dropper on the aging facility, then an absorber will collect it once it has been dropped

Funny enough you don't even need conveyer belts if your reaction time is fast enough. I'm pretty sure people already know this but you can just place them on top of each other if you press place the moment the top of the field is blue. I've been able to put 10 on top of each other and im pretty sure you can keep going past that
Yeah it's just harder for console, you can also stack to around 10 before problems start, but you can compress to as many as you like

I'm the beta version on Xbox....I have everything setup but the laser isn't connecting to my aging and I don't see auto craft when I try to set up the ethanol production....not sure why it's not working....I have them pretty close to make sure the laser will connect but it's not. Any help would be great. Awesome vids btw

Can't get this to work on Xbox I don't get 8 fields worth of wheat I saw someone say u need to do 4 in two places but how will u get both in the the machien do u just do a stack behind the other one will the observer collect the stack behind
I would advise just using 4, not 2 stacks of 4, sure if you get the timing right you could make this work but it's really not needed, I would just drop down to 1 stack of 4, console has an item floor limit so after 4 wheat plots are harvested, any more will despawn to prevent lag, a setting is coming soon allowing you to increase the item floor limit

Ok I am on XBOX prob I have is how do/does the aging facility auto make Bioethanol? normally you have to select it when it is a stand alone unit. Am I missing something? when you attach linker do you then auquire option in aging unit to set it to auto make Bioethanol or what??????
The option becomes available in the aging facility once connected to a craft connector

I found this stacking wheat system on my own by accident but I like to have my fields just float the on top of the water.
This worked great the first day, now the chest after the auto cooker won't let me place an absorber and activator.
The chest won't allow you place an absorber on it?? That's a bug, you should be able to place thousands of absorbers on one chest, I would advise rebooting your game, try a different world etc as it shouldn't be doing that 🤔
I got the idea to make a factory by placing this next to a battery farm. Ended up exploding green mono's everywhere and crashing my game. Guess the sprinkler was a little to close..
Well I am frustrated. The reaper doesn't work on xbox. The animation is there but it doesn't cut anything. Tried using the saws but as soon as it cuts the next field previous field wheat disappears before it can be sucked into the chest. So manual wheat farming continues.

Console has since been limited to only 32 items on the ground at once, but 32 is still plenty to constantly make bioethanol 😊
@@Caztecx I put another 4 in the gap between the cooker and had them growing 20 seconds after the first 4...So i get 64 every few mins...none were getting caught. I put the cutter on the middle plots on the side and had the sprinkler in the middle of both sets of pliots.. Works like a charm:d

i still stack 8 at a time but i have 4 plots growing at a off timed and i have 3 of these working side by side
The craft connector isn’t sending the Wheat flower to the Aging facility, do you know why?
Make sure you have selected "auto craft" inside the aging facility, also make sure you have enough wheat flour in the chest, it will only send it over when there is enough to make 1 bio ethanol

Doesn't work on console. If you pop more than 3 wheat fields the wheat starts to disappear like it only allows a max of 30ish wheat. Now I may be crazy but I've attempted quite a few times even with side by side fields and doing them by hand. Idk

console seem to despawn a lot of stuff if it too close. evin if it not stacked like this an you lose a crap ton. plus the stacking it higher than ur shown for the same number an the stuff get stuck inside of the stack tryed doing hafl like 4 an it still got stuck inside. puller or absorber dose not bypass it. an evin with out stacking the reaping machin sooner or later get pushed out of range of the plots. tryed many time every time something grows it slowly get pushed out. really hard to try thing when stuff is broken

For sure! the mass of mobs is kind of crazy especially when its like chickens, cows and sheep most of the time, also particle effects should of been one of the first things they disabled

How can I let my stuff continue to produce even when im not on my island? it stops when im not on the same island. Can I put a animal or something I tamed next to it for it to not stop?
No thats part of the game, automations will stop when you leave the biome or log out

you need a Dropper on the Aging Facility, that will shoot the bio out, you then collect it however you want, thats the same with every build that creates something :)

Console/gamepass/windows has a floor item limit so instead of 8 stacks, use 4, it's still very fast and will save any being lost.
(New setting coming soon allowing you to increase the item floor limit)

Omg I'm dumb, I somehow missed the part about using conveyor belts to drop the fields and I ended up using a glitch I found by accident that i thought he was using. By pressing the build key right as move the camera to the right over the first plot I put down -_-

This process is much more efficient if you add 1 additional Aging Facility with a 2nd crafting connector attached to the wheat flour chest. Otherwise the Aging Facility becomes the bottleneck.
it depends what platform you are on, but you could also say its more efficient to add another 8 wheat fields.... I'm not guiding you how to make it the most efficient I'm guiding you on making it work, to make it even more efficient dedicate a whole biome to it and have thousands of bioethanol being made every second

Whats not working for you? the stacking? i believe on console they now slightly move when stacked, but make sure you have no walls around it as they seem to move towards a wall, or if you have no walls close to it, then place a wall at the end to secure it in place

@@Caztecx I just figured it out. I like to make my bases with grid mode off because I like the aesthetic of building with the landscape. You can't place wheatfields on something not aligned with the grid. Once I aligned part of my base with the grid, I was able to do it.
