You are a genius. The method I couldn't understand in this game was the refinement method, but I got the weapon I wanted by watching the video and testing it. After getting the weapon like that, I caught the boss mob, and another better weapon came out, so I put the refinery stone on an island used as a warehouse. 🤣😂🤣 I've been traveling from island to island looking for advanced weapons. It's a game with a lot to do.😅

All that's left is to learn how to build a proper character as I can't even beat lvl 56 bosses from islands lvl 5. Refining is a start, looking foward to test this. Thx
@@Caztecx May I suggest your builds be in 2 parts, one for a mid game build that would allow us to go farm for our first end game stuff and a final all powerful build.
If your on xbox your kinda limited on what you can do until the release the next age. Cant even make anything obsidian besides casual clothes heavily limits players

I was actually trying to figure this out last night first hand and gave up. Thought Caz will have a guide on this and low and behold he does. However this is exactly how I expected it to work but ti doesn't. I might be doing something wrong but the only 2 weapons I have the same were 2 platnium swords so dropped one in each box and a mid-grade refining stone. Nothing happened. I am so confused.

First off that video helped so much to understand it. But I have one question about the stones. You put the fragment in and it only gave one level. What happens if you put a better on in? Or should you use 20 of those then move on? And second you put two spears in at one point. Did it give you a better buff or you’re better off doing one at a time
The stones dont give any further boosts, the better stones just allow you to upgrade higher level weapons, you can only use 1 specific type of stone for that current level on your weapon, hopefully in the future though we get options such as enchantments on refining stones as that could create some very cool weapons but for now the stones are simply a way to combine our weapons 1 at a time
You probably won't read this but, I hope you do I'm going to send the same thing to your latest video but I had to rewatch your video to make sure I didn't miss anything you said the highest grade is able to upgrade a Max all the way up to chi but mine is not letting me upgrade at all it's not even let me put it inside of the refiner. Do you know because I'm confused.
I can't seem to get my refinery to work. I used a basic, unenchanted iron sword as the weapon I want to keep, I placed a low grade refining stone in the box, and I placed three additional iron swords (also unenchanted) into the refining materials box... but nothing is happening. I've done this multiple times, removing items from the boxes and putting them inside in different orders to see if the refinery will activate... and nothing happens. I came to your video hoping it would solve the issue, but you're doing exactly what I'm doing and nothing is happening. Do all of the items need to be enchanted for it to activate or something?
Is it possible to combine the same weapon but with different refinement levels? For an example 1 sword has +2 and the other sword has +5. Can you refine it or not? They both are the same named sword.
im so sorry for the late reply! yes you can combine the same weapon together regardless of refinement level or enchantments, so long as the weapon its self is the same :)

You can find the Dragon Crescent Blades on level 4+ islands, you may find them slightly sooner but its rare, 4+ you find them very often, especially towards level 6, thank you i love making them and its even easier with support like yours 👊🏻💚

as an example, say you have a lower tier frost edge sword but you refine it to +99, if you then make a higher tier sword its classed as a different weapon so you will need to restart your refinement

I am currently having trouble upgrading from a +19 to higher refinement levels. Details: - My sword is a lvl10/10 star weapon. - I crafted the advanced refinery. - I loaded the refinery with shards, low, mid and high grade refinery stones. - I also loaded the refinery mats (same named weapons). I currently have no idea what I am doing wrong wherein it is not refining past +19. Any ideas/pointers on what I am overlooking? Thanks in advance.
This question doesn’t really relate to the video, but certain ore you need an 11 star pickaxe, but the diamond is the strongest. How do I mine that ore?
Currently we cant, but you can use weapons to farm the rocks but its alot slower, however the ores we cant mine yet have minimal uses currently and are all buyable from level 6/7 merchants so thats just easier to buy them
What's the importance of weapon level(star) anyway? Like I hve a 8* (+0) weapon and a 5* weapon (+52) and my 5* actually gives better enchantment then my 8*, and to note, their both craftable in the blacksmith. So my 5* has better enchantment and give better stats then my 8*. How exactly is the weapon level important?

I am also having this issue. I am using the butcher, I have managed to refine it once so it is butcher+1 but now when I try to refine it again no matter how many stones or other butchers I put into the third chest etc it does nothing
In my game any weapon that's 10+ automatically makes me use the highest grade refining stones instead of just the high grade refining stones. Why is that? My weapon is the basic butcher spear and it's only level 25

i did yeah, only because i use all the empty islands for different parts of my base, for example one empty island is where i make the guides, another is my base, another is my shops etc, it takes alot of planning but i like having it like this so i dont have to build 1 giant base with everything in it
What weapon are you using? ill take a look, sorry im not sure off the top of my head but ill happily research it for you as im on the game now and have access to creative mode
hmm strange, try removing refining stones and weapons. replace them back in, and try again, it does work on xbox as 99% of my chat are on xbox and have been doing it, hopefully it hasnt bugged for you
The refinery is very buggy other than having the correct refining stones in, sometimes you have to completely empty the refinery then replace everything and refine a random weapon then try to refine your main weapon again, hopefully they bring fixes for this very soon
make sure you have the correct refining stones, if its still not working try to refine a different weapon then retry your main weapon, it seems to be abit buggy sometimes
not sure if you have tried this yet but if you remove everything including the refining stones from the Refining machine, then put the stones back in but refine a random weapon, once its finished, try the butcher again, let me know how you get on 🤞🏻
@@Caztecx yeah I have tried that already and that didn’t work as well but I appreciate the reply. However , I was told elsewhere that for those who are going through my situation which are plenty , to use the highest refined stone instead of high refined and it should work so I’m trying that now
@@Caztecx yes it does work !! i just got it to +20 so I’m guessing it can go higher now . I still appreciate the assist man ! So the solution is to kill world 7 boss to drop the highest refined stone .
Can every weapon be refined I been trying to refine the weapon from the reaper boss they are from lvl 100+ so they are IV I believe but every time I put them in refine with highest grade stone it doesn’t start
Yo i figured it out, i just stuffed all refining stones in at once and go in order starting at putting the weapons you are losing first, weapon your upgrading last.
@@Caztecx I was trying to refine a killer bow. I put a killer bow in the proper chest, and a killer bow in the chest to be used to refine the other killer bow. middle chest had all the types of refining stones: low (had an enchantmen though), medium, high, and highest. Nothing was happening with it. Was the enchantment ruining it, or is there another type I'm missing? I had over 10 of each refining stone
i would advise putting a few of each stone into the refinery as different level weapons need different stones, then make sure its 2 of the same weapon, enchants can be different though

Might I recommend a gun? I have a flintlock revolver, and that things puts down enemies very fast

i would suggest placing refining stones, low-grade, mid and high in the refinery so it can use which ever is needed

I had 16 gaucha coins and found out u can put them in the gumball machine. I got 4 of these blades out of the 16! Used this guide and leveled one up!

Depending on the weapon, you will require the right grade stone and possibly a skilled refinery

Depends on the fighting style, most uncrafted weapons are pretty bad for enchants though

I got the same level to 40 and I can’t refine it again do you have to be a certain level to refine more I’m level 26
Idk why but I can’t refine beyond 40. The mid grade stones aren’t working. I even tried high grade.
How about highest grade?
If you have all refining stones in it it will use the lowest quality possible so you can use it for stone storage btw :)

aslong as its the same weapon sure, you can move max refinement from one weapon to the other if its the same weapon but has better enchants

Can you use a frost rose blade I to up grade a lvl 4 or 5?
if you're upgrading a frost rose blade 1 sure, any of the same weapon can be used to refine

I'm using the highest grade refine but my frost blade edge wont go over level 40
Try a "skilled refinery" its usually that or the stones but if your using highest i would say its the refinery

Is it possible to automate the refinery?

Is a variety island good for a base?
Yeah can be, depends on the size you want to build though as its also one of the most populated biomes so you may encounter some lag down the road

i did yeah, only because i use all the empty islands for different parts of my base, for example one empty island is where i make the guides, another is my base, another is my shops etc, it takes alot of planning but i like having it like this so i dont have to build 1 giant base with everything in it

How come I can refine my sword past 19. What gems do I need to do that and where do I get them. Swords is a high start I think12

for whatever reason i cant seem to get this to work on xbox.
hmm strange, try removing refining stones and weapons. replace them back in, and try again, it does work on xbox as 99% of my chat are on xbox and have been doing it, hopefully it hasnt bugged for you
So the refinery doesn't seem to work on xbox
The refinery is very buggy other than having the correct refining stones in, sometimes you have to completely empty the refinery then replace everything and refine a random weapon then try to refine your main weapon again, hopefully they bring fixes for this very soon
That explains a lot cause just ran into that issue as well
I do wish it was easier to refine 12 and 13 Star weapons.
yeah its a pain by the time you can farm highest refining stones, you already need the maxed weapons so its kind of annoying

make sure you have the correct refining stones, if its still not working try to refine a different weapon then retry your main weapon, it seems to be abit buggy sometimes

I’m upgrading my Butcher but I only got it up to +19 with a high refined stone but I can’t go any higher
not sure if you have tried this yet but if you remove everything including the refining stones from the Refining machine, then put the stones back in but refine a random weapon, once its finished, try the butcher again, let me know how you get on 🤞🏻
@@Caztecx yeah I have tried that already and that didn’t work as well but I appreciate the reply. However , I was told elsewhere that for those who are going through my situation which are plenty , to use the highest refined stone instead of high refined and it should work so I’m trying that now

Can every weapon be refined I been trying to refine the weapon from the reaper boss they are from lvl 100+ so they are IV I believe but every time I put them in refine with highest grade stone it doesn’t start
Have you a tried a skilled refinery? Sorry I haven't done that weapon yet so not 100% sure
Yo i figured it out, i just stuffed all refining stones in at once and go in order starting at putting the weapons you are losing first, weapon your upgrading last.
It will auto start like in the vid^

@@Caztecx I was trying to refine a killer bow. I put a killer bow in the proper chest, and a killer bow in the chest to be used to refine the other killer bow. middle chest had all the types of refining stones: low (had an enchantmen though), medium, high, and highest. Nothing was happening with it. Was the enchantment ruining it, or is there another type I'm missing? I had over 10 of each refining stone

so I play on console I put all the stuff in but it still did not refin the sword ?
i would advise putting a few of each stone into the refinery as different level weapons need different stones, then make sure its 2 of the same weapon, enchants can be different though
