I just got my new trimmer and came back to this video to learn the tips and tricks. I have to think you are a teacher by trade because you know exactly how share what needs to be shared. The biggie for mr me was how to move from top to bottom if my paper is against the bottom of the trimmer or the opposite if lined up at the top. On the really small cuts my paper kept moving on me until I did it this way and then, no movement at all. Thank you; thank you; thank you so much. This was such a informative video.

In the video it says you can cut the older smaller page protectors to fit? I didn’t know that . Do you recommend a newer blade? Thanks 14:19 love your videos !
Hello. I have a curious problem with my trimmer. If I use the white mark for my measurements, I find it actually cuts about 1/4" further or beyond the white mark on the housing. To me this suggests my blade is too large. Have you heard of this problem before? Did I perhaps just get an off-sized blade? I've been compensating by remembering that I actually need to stop 1/4" sooner than I should per the line but that doesn't seem right. Thank you!
Again, wow. Went and flipped my trimmer over and discovered it had come with extra cutting and scoring blades. I just ordered a scoring blade because I didn't know I had one.
I have been meaning to find out the exact answer, but my guess would have to do with the coating/emulsion that is on photos and that it may dull the blade. I have always used the personal trimmer to cut photos, and find it so easy to have both at the ready😄❤️

Hi Colleen, I think the mats are slightly different from my recollection of the previous model. And yes, each blade has the cut style marking on the side of its housing... easy to see and each one is a different color!
