Shroud has been loving new game Marvel Rivals, but thinks if a couple major issues could be fixed it'd be perfect, but what are your thoughts on the game?

He's so good at other game but so mid at this one because he can't be bothered to learn simple mechanics or play with his settings. That first Iron Man complaint was him not being aware of the block right in front of him. He wasn't even shooting the guy. He says most heroes are unplayable then proceeds to name 10+ who are playable. Idk who expected a total balanced game in alpha. It was never going to happen. Also I don't blame him for thinking Magik is bad. She's hard. In gold rank I saw many players [including me] getting 30+ kills with her.

I love shroud but him thinking everything beyond aim is a "problem" with the game and the reason heroes are "unplayable" just because he hasn't tried learning the other mechanics is soo dumb
The only two problems he brought up in this video were bugs, and he praised all of the non aim heavy characters for being in a pretty good state. I’m not really sure how you came to this conclusion

Shroud share his experience pov to viewer as how he experienced the game.
Though you also right as many “pro” streamer is up in their a$$ with fps game only care about aim because it’s in their natural that is the only way to get good.
These “pro” streamer only play anything that is hit scan or aim heavy characters and they barely give any other type of characters a full dedication.
Bug is inevitable for Alpha test so shroud saying melee character at the time of recording, “unviable” is a valid statement but I do hope they give other type of characters a try instead of auto pick hit scan.

To be fair, he's not wrong about many of the heroes being unplayable. At least if the teams are balanced. There is no need to defend a game you like from actually constructive criticisms. They can only make it better.

This is the experience for 90% of people who play video games on all games. Not everyone is getting 200+ fps and on 5 ping with their nasa pc and 144hz monitor

I'm slumming it over here on 144Hz, and a PC that can't even produce FPS to match that. Every streamer has 240+ Hz these days lol

That is pretty common among competitive players. The extra performance and fewer distractions typically help. Obviously, that wasn't entirely the case here. The low setting was actually a hindrance with how they implemented it.
It's normal in every competitive game. 😆 Every pro and normal player runs at low.

Love shroud but I haven’t heard a new game that he’s played recently that he has a positive opinion of. He has superior aim but this game requires you to learn character attributes to be successful beyond just aim. Would love to know what game he holds as the standard for shooters just so I have a reference for what Mike likes out of a shooter

Its okay shroud, you are an amazing shooter aimer but this games is beyond that, there is abilities mechanics and dive character require a different skill than just aiming.

It's completely normal in games you play, especially in competitive to turn the graphics to low. The slight improvements and more FPS even though you can handle higher settings easily, is necessary. Even I turn everything to low and I have a good enough computer to run everything at high.

its not even needed to play overwatch, that was a stupid excuse, this game already showed that most characters and meant to play vertically with flight, people with 2 brain cells have already adapted to that cause it probably is the very first thing you notice, shroud just ignores it for some reason. Every new game a player plays means understanding the mechanics of said game, shroud is just ignoring that factor cause he clearly doesnt care and wants the bag.

well the editor is pulling it from teh stream, not from source. so it's at best 300 pixels across, when it's being recorded at 1080p source AT LEAST. prly more like 4K.
They are just zooming in on the streamed window, in which his cam is minimized.

Only problem with this game is the Overwatch community. People going super try hard on an alpha testing, know nothing about the heroes they’re playing mechanically also and says how there’s only a handful of valuable characters. Can’t y’all just play a game anymore just to have fun? It’s not even a beta test, it’s an alpha test.
Ok it not the full OW couminty and it not even just us. And if you don't belive me go look at Necro he was literally learning and grinding Spider man when everyone else was saying he was worst hero. Finding a animation cancel that allows fir a oneshot combo. He even spent time on black panther just found him to buggy and even showed in one of his videos black panther that doing a quick turn around and try to dash you will not dash were you want to go and you every have to turn then stop for a second before dashing or turn slowly

Love Shroud but hes making way too many excuses. Hes just BAD right now and eont admit it... Ngl Iron Man and Storm are kinda weak tho because they are easy targets but Spider Man and Black Panther are fine.
Iron Man and Storm's Ultimates are basically the only thing that makes their characters good... aand Iron Man's team-up with Hulk and Doctor Strange is also really good. Besides that, yeah they're pretty useless.

It's funny how much hype this game is getting. It's mobile quality and genuinely sucks, but it's Marvel and reminds people of OW so they pretend it's good. Game will be dead within a month of release. The developer is about as scummy as they come and has never made a decent game.

It unironically has the potential to ruin the game wholesale, depending on how they decide to monetize. But you're wrong about it being mobile quality. The game was fantastic, ran and played great.
