Been lucky enough to visit Alicante twice. First time we were there we did the whole long climb to Saint Barabara only to be told at the top by some german tourists that the place was closed due to a private party lol. At least we saw the sunset from up there the second time!
Great vid! Considering how touristy/beachy all the surrounding resorts are I was a bit sceptical, but I loved how real and how quirky it is! Sure there's a tourist/beach area, but it's 1 section not the whole city (admittedly I was there in feb, probably different in summer). And you're video captured that, but I must admit to paying and using the lift up to Santa Bàrbara!
La Central and La Metrodanceclub and if you're lucky enough to spot on any event of Discoteca Revival. You"ll never regret... By the way Fiestas de San Juan mola as well. You don't need to be rich to have a best time in your life in Alicante. But if you are, then bring your honney on. Cause you'll definitely need that...

I was there in 2018 and did most of what you did. Still upset i didnt get to go to the santa barbara castle :( But i was there to play soccer (football). Training with a team there. Whenever we had free time, myself and my friends i made would explore the city. I absolutely loved the ambiance and atmosphere. We would take a short train ride from the condomina district into downtown and just walk around. We even caught a ⚽️ match for Hercules vs Peralada. (Won 1-0) Im originally from the bay area of California and alicante made me feel like the bay area followed me. It was easy to get used to. And i hope i go back one day. Spain as a whole has a special place in my life because of my ancestry. And alicante was an experience i refuse to forget
Went there last year, and going there this summer again. I almost feel like I have to bring my drone this year :-) Our hotel is the one you can see from the castle, at the habour/beach. Really a nice place.

Sure! Alicante is good to visit during the whole year. I recomend you to visit not only the city but the whole province, beaches and interior land.
