In response to everyone saying the heel cup/highback screws are impossible to adjust, you just need a big screw driver. once i tried a size #3 the screws came out easy.

The screws I've had no issue with. But the thing the screw goes into - what the video calls a nut - *that* is, for me, near impossible to get out in some cases. A screwdriver doesn't help there. How did you get them out?

for the heel cup nuts i really just pushed on the nuts while wiggling the heel cup in and out and it wasnt always easy but theyd fall out eventually

I agree, the “nut” on the highback attachment point is a nightmare. I found the silver receiver plate on the outside of the binding to be very poorly made, with the middle of the three holes smaller than the other two and not the same shape either. In the end I had to file the ends of all four “nuts” to get them to slip through the receiver plate. I absolutely love the way the Cypress rides but adjusting them to fit your boot size is bloody awful!

For those struggling with bolts on these - use a solder to heat bolt-joint from the outside up to 70-90c, after that it's so easy to unscrew.

I bought the Cypress a few years ago. Loved the ankle strap but when I went to rotate the highback and also adjust the heel cup, the screws stripped out. Had to return them for a refund. Bummer, I was really looking forward to riding them.

god help you if you need to adjust the heel cup, make sure you have the right screwdriver and you'll probably need a metal file to shave down the outside of the pin to get it back into the binding.

I had the exact same issue. I had to loosen the bolt with an impact driver which slightly altered the shape of the middle hole and the adjacent ones. Then I couldn’t get the pin back into the other hole once it finally came out which the pin also got jacked up. Had to file down all the gouges on the pin then try to re-form the shape on the new hole. A 5 min adjustment became literally an hour ordeal.

The video makes it look so easy. This is a really terrible job done on the product. It is impossible to change the setting without scratching and damaging your newly purchased bindings.
