but guys the pain of owning a golf 7 is too much.last year i bought a golf 7R and i already replaced the turbo and the waterpump and thermostat but good for me i have an extended warranty

It’s called a Top Radiator pipe they get brittle over time nothing huge … pipes get worn And especially since you got the engine pulled and back in they take abit of strain

I got stuck with the same fuel pipe that time i was on my way to Botswana, luckily i was in Zeerust , got help from VAGSPEC Zeerust made it to Botswana and back, got a new one for R600 from VW, hai Golf Chronicles

Don't ever buy a second hang GTI or R with over 50 000 Km. They both showed me flames tjoh. Like everything just starts breaking 1 after the other.

It's incorrect to say problems with the engine build, I listened to what the builder was talking about during the build, he knows his stuff.
Minor hiccups like this do crop up when reinstalling a motor, the fact is 99percent of stuff in a Volkswagen engine bay is plastic, they get brittle and break. That's one of the downsides of a modern car...
I really doubt you're gonna have any major problems with the motor itself.
a proper mechanic would have proper tested the car before handling the keys back to the customer, how do you explain coolant horse snapping, it meams it was not properly fitted. This could have been a very espensive mistake. Problem with the mechanics, they don't do the job themselves but delegate to their inexpireinced boys and mess up. He explained well but delegated most of the work without inspecting.

@@smallb-kay6852 I disagree, the plastic connector cannot be owner's mistake, he broke the tiny horse trying to refit the mistake done by mechanics. I know how they operate and the reason why I had to learn to work on my own cars. If I was working on that engine, the owner would have been the happiest dude. I hate mechanics who don't take pride in their work.

@@Hamilton_ZA I’m saying there’s no need for Nathi to take it to Mumbo, these are just minor issues that occur almost in every engine rebuild especially in modern cars which use plastic hose etc plus insane racing has more experience in performance engines than Mumbo

golf 7’s are unreliable , especially the ones that’s tuned by power pipes performance , Bandile Traders’ also broke his engines two times , lesson learnt

Don’t blame Powerpipes, tuning a car is a risk, the Manufacturer capped the power at that level for a reason which is reliability, you can have it running for long with a tune but you have to be easy with it. I’ve seen videos of Bandile and he also used to driveby hatfield, he abused that car daily. When you abuse a car things will break

Honesty from my personally experience BMW's are realiable... i drove e90 n f30 ... ah shame.. its 7yrs now with f30 everything still intact... in the engine i only replaced serpentine belt .. ❤❤❤ clocking 200 000km with f30 n 302 000km with e90
@@mzansipunters4295 Of course BMW is reliable but the issue that i had with the BMWs that I've previously owned is the transmission (auto), cooling system and the ECU.😥 I ended up doing an engine swap on my e46 325i with a 330i engine and it was running smoothly and i now i gave to my younger brother. Now i drive an F30 320d as a daily with 185 000km and i haven't had any issues with it.
