i don’t think i’ve ever come across a creepypasta about the fae folk before, which is honestly a shame because faerie lore is so creepy yet fascinating. thanks for sharing this story, and great narration as always x
There are a few, but most don't explicitly say they are fae.
There are a handful of them I've found accidentally before... they just don't always say the word, "fae" in the title.. but do in the story... there is one narrator in particular... if I can find her... I'll come back and list it...

It's long, but so good. Stories After Midnight (who no longer narrates) did an excellent job on the whole story. There are multiple parts so when I say long, I mean long.
@@ZaZa-oo3dw Fae are things like Fairies and such. Faries were originally Greek mythology (nymphs). England was the first area "see" fae, but it's often associated with Ireland and its folklore. A circle of mushrooms indicates a "fairy ring" but can also be called elf rings or pixie rings depending. This in these stories often mean you're in their territory. The red mushrooms in this story indicate the man (and maybe the friend?) Are fae.
Wow an MC in a creepsmcpasta with common sense that's still tense and scary? This is a rarity. This story is ripe for a sequel too!

Refering to the dad's boss from the beginning of the story...
My dad would toss me up into the air and catch me when I was little. His cousin, whose alcoholism struggles were eventually what killed him (may he rest in peace), tried once to drunkenly do the same. He missed. My dad caught me, but barely. He did once save me from drowning despite being totally sloshed though, so...

If I need to sleep, I go to you, which kinda polarizes all the other channels. All I can say is, each of you have your strengths. They keep me awake though.

I mean he had an "off" vibe for sure but as the story went on, it build a more supernatural aura around him, piecing together that he was in fact a fae
I feel asleep while listening to this and had one disturbing freaking dream.
this is only the second creepypasta i've heard where the fae was a thing! i think it's very fun
So Oliver obviously set him up cause making two lefts will put him basically where he started so I’m really confused to why he did it like maybe the fae had sum control over Oliver and had him lure kids maybe?

I think I missed something. End made no sense.
So the man and olliver are in on it together, a kid would listen to another kid but not a stranger. Apparently its fairy folks luring kids into the woods, olliver said to make two lefts, making the kid turn back around to go back into the woods.

It is implied that the kid tried to trap him there. He said “take a left then another left”, which would get him back to where he started. It’s just interesting that he may have a part in it. Otherwise, the basic twist was that it was the adult that was the threat and not the stranger (the kid)

You do know he doesnt write these stories right? and its not really hard to understand that in the end oliver set up the kid to go back to the place of the green man to potentially be kidnapped or worse for profit hence why oliver gave him the exact directions back to the place instead of to his home.
The kids dead, you didn’t pay attention, there is no cliff hanger but you missed a very crucial detail, the man still got him. Walk forward and then make two lefts irl and walk forward again and tell us where you end up…

@@SBHKur0 ok, the directions thing is correct but there is absolutely no evidence to show that the man got him. He beat the man. The end was simply saying he was calling his friend to let him know he got home safe but he just doesn't realize that his friend was in on the whole thing somehow. Now for what reason, I still can't figure that one out.
Lots of creepypasta's end with what seem to be cliffhangers but there's usually an ending that you just have to think about to get.
He doesn't write the stories anyway. You should really listen to more of his stories. He's an excellent storyteller!
