The thing I loved about him was he talked to talk and walk the walk. You can read stories about him when he was in college and in the NFL he never said a bad thing about anybody and talk to everybody about Jesus!!!!! Need more people like him with that kind of character in this world

Size, skill, class, and a love for God. This man was amazing and truly one of the greatest athletes of all time. I am glad that we had him here. I love many things about my vols, but their character is by far their best quality. Truly a team worthy of our fandom. I have had a lot of misery as a vol fan, but I have never regretted it. Our fans, our community, and the character of our program are what always keep me grounded.

I am sorry Reggie White died so very young but he accomplished so much and left a lasting legacy in too many areas to list.

As a packers fan but I love him which helps me not care that he was a vol even though I'm a Auburn fan him or Lawrence taylor or Bruce Smith was the best pass rusher ever!

He was such a close friend. I remember July 4th at his house. Used to crush so hard on his kid Jeremy. RIP Mr. White.

I was fortunate to be a classmate of Reggie's at Tennessee. Will never forget that '83 season. Nobody could handle him.

Reggie White is the 2nd best Defensive End to come out of the University of Tennessee.
The best Defensive End is Doug Atkins. He was bigger, stronger, more athletic, just as feared and played in an era when sacks were not recorded.

I like to say they are tied for best. Atkins was taller, not stronger, probably equally as athletic, and probably slightly more feared.

Never will forget when Dean Steinkuler beat Reggie out of the Outland Trophy, then Reggie wore him out in the East- West all-star game.
