This town is situated on the banks of the River Dehing, a tributary of the mighty Brahmaputra and inhabited by both the tribal and non tribal people living harmoniously with their unique cultural and traditional values. This town has a fantastic landscape of the area painted with lush green tea gardens along the road, with beautiful flora and fauna.
