    Hi All! Answering some questions! Yes, the online store is now closed. Thank you all so much! You have no idea how much you all have helped throughout this journey. Thank you for making YAYA Chébé Hair Care Line more than I could ever dream of. It was truly life changing. I will do my best to answer questions about the shop closing in the next few videos. If you have any questions, leave them under this comment.
    As for orders, the last batch will ship between the first and second week of October. If you have questions about your order, please email me at iamjustyaya@gmail.com.

    I really enjoy your videos, they’re always informative. As with cooking I always add my own twist but I’ve made so excellent hair products from your videos. Honestly it’s really difficult for me to find comercial products that work well in my hair. I’ve had a doper twist out than I use my homemade flax gel. I recently made a version of your flax butter and my hair LOVES it. I’ve been making my own infused oils and flax gel for YEARS. But shampoo, butters and leave-in’s……..that’s been more recent. I recommend diy hair stuff for anyone with allergies, sensitivities, and/or coily and tight textures. It’s what makes my hair FLOURISH. Healthy hair is beautiful hair.
    I had honestly lost the desire to make my own products after being extremely sick. Catching one of your videos (by chance) reminded me why I actually ENJOY doing it. The science AND creativity is fun.
    Thanks Again

    • @YayaDIYCreations
      @YayaDIYCreations  2 роки тому +5

      Hi! You can use any broad-spectrum preservative that is efficient in a pH range of at least 3 to 8 or wider. Make sure it is water-soluble.
      Which one you chose is based on preference. In most cases I recommend liquid germall plus because it is effective and easy to use, with a low usage rate. However, there are others more “acceptable”. The one I used is linked in the description box.
      Rosemary oil extract is a very powerful antioxidant. I would use 100% pure vitamin e oil as an alternative. It also works to reduce oxidation and rancidity of oils.
      I hope this helps. 💜💜💜

      Hi! That is a great question. This product should be safe. The biggest concern is allergic reactions to the natural herbs. My son is 7 and I use this treatment on his hair once a week. However, he does have a lot of allergies, so I have to always do patch test first. I would recommend a patch test for younger individuals and medical advice from your health care provider. Hi! I don’t recommend that. This should be washed out thoroughly. Followed by shampoo and conditioner. A good moisturizer afterwards would be even better as cloves can be drying to the hair. That’s why I recommend applying it directly onto the scalp only as a scalp treatment.

    You add too much rosemary extract? Or it’s in range ❤️☺️

    • @YayaDIYCreations
      @YayaDIYCreations  2 роки тому +2

      Hi! Yes, I used 1% which is technically outside of the suggested range. The suggested range for Rosemary Oil Extract is 0.2 to 0.5%. However, this is mainly for minimizing the herbal aroma in the final product. It is considered a safe liquid, but I suggest testing for irritation before using more.
      I use 1% for most of my extracts, including Rosemary Oil Extract. I’ve used it this way in other formulas as well and I have not had any irritations. With certain ingredients, it’s safe to go outside of the usage range, while other ingredients can destabilize your product or cause irritation. The formulator must be careful when testing outside of range.
      You can totally use it at 0.5% or less. Just make sure to fill in the other 0.5% of the formula with more of another ingredient.
      I hope this helps and sorry for any confusion. 😊💜
