Federer was expecting 113 so he was caught off guard with it being 114
"that's a bit too fast for me!"
LMAO
Not to mention Andre cheated and didn't hit to his forehand.

crazy its like seeing Brady/Manning,Montana, and Rodgers in same football game.
Andre turned out to be a really solid guy, despite what the world tried to make him into. He doesn’t have to put on a show for these people, but he clearly enjoys doing so. Good on you, Andre.

Agassi when he lost the French open final in the beginning of his career couldn't believe it..
@@sasmitvaidya3594 Nope, most of them are still at it.
@@sasmitvaidya3594 Agassi and Sampras definitely retired a while ago. both were long time n°1 and kept playing very competitively at a "late" age around 35. Sampras use to hold the grand slam victories (14) before Nadal/Federer/Jokovic all shattered his record (20). Sampras is still #3 in number of weeks at #1 ranking. he was also Federer spiritual predecessor with classic style, one handed backhand, attacking and coming to the net
Didn't Roger want it on this forehand? Not so accurate if you ask me. Speed control is impressive tho
Andre was my favorite player for years. I miss him.

Cuatro genios del tenis juntos. Un lujazo.
Agasi is the one that had me watching Wimbledon every year. I became a tennis fan because of him, and he wasn't even the best (now that I think about it), but he made it fun.
He was ranked #1 for a bit
I think twice
@@crisvok Absolutely, he won a bunch of big tournaments. Gold in the Olympics, and he was bad-ass in the Austrailan Open. Now that I think about it. Maybe I'm focusing too much on Wimbledon, and once Sampras and that era came...idk. I'm going to have to look it up now..... But, I still loved watching him. Almost as much as McEnroe.
Am interviewer commented on his colorful outfit and how he would have to wear white at Wimbledon.
"No, they're gonna let me wear it "
"Really?"
"No"
Agasi made tennis cool. I was always thinking it was a sport for spoiled brats until he came along. I remember so many battles between him and Sampras. Sampras was a beast with probably the best serve in the game at that time. So many great players in that era.
May not be the best, however he and Nadal are the only male players with a Career Golden Slam in Men's tennis. All four majors and the Olympic Gold. Not bad for the image is everything guy who really became great during the later years of his tennis career.

My goodness! What an exhibition match this must have been. Four all time legends of the game right there.
Had the privilage of watching Andre play some years back in Key Biscayne. The skill level of these guys is mind blowing.
I took lessons from a former 110th ranked player. Yeah, how good they are is scary. The guy's name was Scott Christie and he was amazing. I can only imagine how good these top players are to see live.
@@tortillasarenotbiceps7622 Yeah I became friends with a top pro female player who lived near me. She invited me to hang out one day and watch one of her workouts. On the other end of the court were two men, both former pros. And they were still young lest anyone think they were old men or something. And she was basically "sparring" at like an 8/10s pace and every so often would turn it up to 11 and bury the both of them. I mean what else can you expect from someone who had professionally beaten several #1 players (Venus Williams, Kim Clijsters) but once again, it was really wild to be at some local tennis court and witness that. Super nice, humble kid I was really sad she was always plagued with injuries. Again the skill level of people at that level is just incredible. And like her, they're often just as or almost as good at other sports as well. It's like they have several more gears than the rest of us.

140 mph. That could be really slow for you. That's called complimenting.

@@Matthew9818 You mean he didn't reach that speed on his own serve?
@@Matthew9818 he definetely did he got a 143 mph serve at Gerry Weber Open in 2010
@@Matthew9818 Well you probably mean he didn’t reach 140 on a regular basis or that it’s uncommon. His fastest serve was clocked at 143, but that wasn’t a common occurrence.

Hit for Haiti - it was a charity event.
Almost every charity game is like this, recently the Australian Open’s charity games were pretty funny.
Look for the clip where Agassi and Sampras banter turns into insults when Andre brings up Pete being a stingy tipper at restaurants. It gets REALLY awkward lol I remember watching this live on TV and felt so uncomfortable with how awkward it was for Federer and Nadal lol they’re rivals but really respect each other, meanwhile, I was worried that Pete was going to hop the net and fight 😂😂
True legends on and off the court
How lucky am I to be a alive during the era of these legends. Now we wait for another era of legendary players
i love their chemistry as friends
I remember watching Agassi winning his first Wimbledon. For the longest time, he was kinda looked over and just considered a second rate tennis player. Then the 90’s happened, and Agassi & Sampras owned the decade.
Hmm. Before winning Wimbledon, he had already played 3 GS finals and won the ATP finals (aka the Masters). Not to mention how he had smashed top players like Becker a few times. So no, no way he was seen as a second rate player at the time.
@@olivierfitoussi1032 we must remember things differently. Up until he won Wimbledon, I always viewed him as the male version of Jennifer Capriati. A solid tennis player, but one step down from the megastars. Kinda like how Michael Chang was. Capable of beating the stars, but most times didn’t. That was only during the teenie bopper mullet stage though lol. Once he ditched his long hair, it’s like he became a whole new player.
