    Deandrew White run after the catch in the 2nd quarter was a real difference maker - things could have been deferent if W.Virginia gets a stop on that possession. And that 2 minute drill right before halftime have Blake a little more confidence. Those 2 situations changed the outcome of this game in my opinion. This is my favorite Saban coached team at Bama. They had heart and had to battle and fight for everything they got that year. From this game to the Miss State game - LSU game on the road hostile environment - Iron Bowl comeback - dam near got a win in Oxford after all those turnovers. Would have beat Ohio State if Lane Kiffen keep giving the ball the Derrick Henry. This team came from not being able to get a play off on time without the play clock going under 2 second in the 1st half of this game to a hail mary away from a getting to a National Championship Game. Proud of these guys. *Roll Tide*

    This is one of the few games where bama actually looked slower or less athletic. Of course they still won cuz its bama but WVU had some speed that year!

      Alabama was a much faster and athletic team. It’s just the WVU offense found gaps and Alabama played terrible on defense for a half...

      @@christopheroliver4757 And still only won by ten? That's weird.

    Great run by White near the end of the 2nd quarter. Tide eventually got rolling for the win.

    Watch Saban at 28:10. He grills Perry. Lol
    Never seen him move so fast.

    People on here acting like it was a win for WVU to play Bama tough. It's not always easy. Don't forget, the NC of this season (OSU) lost at home to a worse team than WVU by 14.

      Very cool, I'm glad you liked it. I plan to do this for as many games as possible. I don't have cable, so I need the games to be over the air, which is how I get them recorded. I also plan to do an individual player performance video...not so much a highlight video, since it will contain good & bad plays but simply every play a specific player had a big part in. For example, for Blake Sims, I'll have all his pass attempts, completions, & runs.

    I kind of wish Blake Sims was still around. Jalen Hurts can't throw to save his life.

    It was a very sloppy played game by Alabama. WVs best player was wearing stripes

    West Virginia looked like the better team for most of this game. They had a lot of speed and played sound defense. A few poorly timed penalties hurt them. Alabama’s defense didn’t play well in this game.

      Alabama's defense in '14 was the least talented defense Saban had coached up to that point. They were decent up front, but their defensive backs could not cover my grandma on crutches. Bradley Sylve, Cyrus Jones, Eddie Jackson (before he moved to safety) got burned by mediocre receivers and QBs all year long, just hemorrhaging yards to offenses that nearly any other Bama squad would have run off the field, Ohio State included. 2015 was quite a turnaround.

    1 or 2 more plays and West Virginia could have won this one... too many dropped passes

    Dang. Alabama had some sloppy defense in this game. Haven't seen their D look that bad in forever.

      justin mock this is my first time watching this game and the defense looks like tissue paper. Our offense carried this game. No wonder Ohio State beat us, we couldn’t cover and our special team can’t tackle.

      I don't think the SEC defenses are as good as advertised. Defense is a lot easier when most the teams to play run it up the middle 80% of the time.

    • @TylerM_86_
      @TylerM_86_ 6 років тому +2

      Terry Driggs well, I can't find any stats showing just defensive picks....but the SEC is soundly beating other conferences year in and year out in the NFL draft. The scouts probably know more about this than you or i.

    • @terrydriggs4216
      @terrydriggs4216 6 років тому

      Soundly is probably not the way to put it, although they do lead in first round picks but not by much. I could easily see a shift in the future stats with offenses in the NFL moving more towards the spread(ish) style. The SEC today still runs the highly predictable offense the NFL did for so long, but as the NFL offenses evolve the defensive requirements will follow. Just a theory... I just feel the BIG12 defenses get a bad rap due to the deceptive, fast and high snapped offenses. I also feel the SEC defenses get a lot of praise for playing weak, slow and predictable offenses.
