I know everyone probably hated this movie when it came out and probably still hate it today, but I didn’t really have a problem with it. I liked that it had more characters from the cartoon. I liked that they involved characters like Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang in this movie. Maybe it’s because Michael Bay is still involved with the franchise, but aside from that this movie is not that bad.
I would definitely agree I would say this movie is better than the first Michael Bay movie plus

I watched this movie when I was 10, and I was so surprised when I saw Sheamus in this movie, but even more pumped when he was playing as Rocksteady. Lol

I actually like this one more then the first. Maybe because of Krang and Bepop and Rocksteady it made it more like the animated series for me. Also nice seeing Casey Jones in a new live action.

the DISRESPECT for Casey Jones 😭 lmao. Casey was always one of my favorites cause i thought it was rad to see a hockey themed hero when i was a kid. i will say though, as much as i love Amell, Elias Koteas had that Casey hair flow in his era.

Its one of those movies where if you are a long time fan of the turtles and watched them as a kid, you would appreciate alot of the stuff that was put into this movie. If not, than you dont know iconic characters like Casey Jones or villians like Krang, or that shredders outfit is more accurate.
Everyone i seem to talk to too much prefer this movie over the first because it is more accurate to the tv show. Also Casey Jones is literally a main character i remembered him from when i use to watch tmnt when i was younger lmao. Also the shredder in this is much more tv series accurate as is the costume.
I don’t like how Casey Jones has brown hair in this one and not black like the 2012.Nice seeing his hockey mask again after it was barely used in the live action 1990

I definitely recommend watching the TMNT 90s trilogy! It isnt nearly as CG heavy as these movies but the atmosphere is just right! (Maybe minus the third one but the first 2 are great imo)
If you're interested, you could check out the animated movies as well!! They're all so much fun and definitely deserving a place in a TMNT marathon

The second one from the 90s has some wierd fight scenes where the turtles don't use their weapons because some Karens complained about characters from a kids movie using them, BUT the second one has Vanilla Ice singing the Ninja Rap xD
