A fantastic video! Succinct and very informative. A very well researched mods too. The best video till now on the Baby GS. Wish you many many more safe miles on your GS.
Indeed very useful information. Nothing fancy. All essential accesories and kits. Just one question. I have been thinking of buying the crash guard rails from zana. Could you tell me how did you fit the accesories especially the crash guards because I believe a minor mistake in fitting will cause increased vibration.
Hi, thank you for your comment and am glad you liked the video. I have got VENOM crash guards which are very good and my local mechanic installed them. Never had any issue with the installation. The good part about VENOM is, that in case you have a call and damage a section of the guard, you don't need to buy the full guard again, only the part which is damaged as its made in joints. If you interested, I could give you the details of how to buy VENOM guards. They are very popular in Mumbai and they have free shipping all over India. Let me know if you have any other questions. Ride safe Hanif

Hi, I am 5 feet 6 inches, my legs don't fully reach when I am standing still with the bike but its really a big problem. Depends on your height. Google Jocelyn Snow BMW to get a better idea.
Thank you for this G310GS accessories video. I just bought a baby GS and I'm accessorizing it. I'm not a fan of fanny packs (butt packs) but I think I'll get a waterproof fanny pack for access to small items as I ride and maybe wear it backwards. I'm not finding any waterproof tank bags that I like. I added an aluminum bash plate. What was BMW thinking? I like the design of your crash bars better than any I've seen. My luggage is all waterproof roll top bags to keep the weight low. I went with a 40 liter backpack that'll ride on the pillion and rack, and two 20 liter cylindrical bags with four D rings that I can attach lower, on the sides for heavier items, including extra fuel if needed. The general purpose bags were much less expensive than similar products sold for motorcycles. I'm currently putting together an advenure touring tool kit. You have many cats roaming the neighborhood. 😀
Thank you for watching, liking and appreciating the video. Congratulations on getting the baby GS, you gonna love the bike. Great value for money. I am really amazed with the accessories. Its really good. Bike is looking fantastic. I am about to book gs310, but i am worried about the very common battery and alternator issues. What are your take on that? how are you managing/preventing it?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. The battery is definitely one of the weakest points. I had an issue when I installed a GPS tracking device, the bike wouldn't start if I didn't use it for a few days because the GPS was always on, so I had to get it uninstalled. I have put lights, USB charger etc but so far not having issues with that, only thing I do is start the bike every couple of days. I have other bikes too, so don't always ride the BMW in the city. Go ahead and book with peace of mind, bike is great and good value for money. Riding long distance is a pleasure and it doesn't tire you at all. Any other questions, let me know. Cheers!
Hi, nice video with good information that gave me new ideas, deffo buying the AKRO so that my friend can pull me out of sands all the time :), did you fit the usb charger to your battery yourself? If so doesnt BMW bond the warranty for doing such things? Thanks in advance
Hi, my mechanic fit the USB charger, it didn't void the warranty as there was no cutting of wires. Plug and play system. I was travelling for the holidays so couldn't reply earlier.
Could you please share more information about how to connect the AUX lights without voiding the BMW warranty. This is something that has not been covered by any UA-camr. Great video btw 👍

Sir, Your bike looks amazing. I was very informative video. I have similar bike and got crash guards from BMW only. Later on I found that those guards only protect the engine and not tank. Can I get upper crash guard fitted separately?? If yes, which one do you recommend?
BMW supplies only lower engine guard for this bike, ss or silver finish only. No upper guards. Have to go for other brands for the upper. But you may find the difference in finish now
Hi Govind, they are not the best but they are the best I could afford. Best ones are by HEPCO BECKER AND SW MOTECH but they are really expensive, if you can afford them, then they are the best. I am making a video today on where to buy online, top 10 website, if you can wait, you will get a better idea. Thanks for your message.

What about the bike warranty.. I heard when you tamper the wires to install aux lights and chargers, we might void the warranty.. could you please tell me how you managed that
Hi, thanks for your comment. None of the modifications I have done require any cutting of wires or changing anything that is originally designed by the company, it's all plug and play. My bike has been to the service center couple of times and they haven't said anything. They usually like to scare people because the company wants to sell their stuff but if you play by the rules and don't change any thing by cutting wires etc, then you can put the lights, horn etc. Still to double check with your service center, call them and maybe even record the call and tell them you putting the lights without cutting any wires. Because I don't know for sure if your service center has a problem or not, mine doesn't, so better to check with them. You can tell them that most owners have put lights and Mumbai service center know about that. Hope this helps

Hi, thank you for taking the time to see the video. I don't know anyone who has lowered the seat but before you do, if you don't mind using another technique, you can buy this on Amazon, it's called : Purastep 3 Layers 7cm Height Increasing Shoes Insoles for Men and Women, 1 Pair This will increase your height buy nearly 3 inches. Also you will save money as this is only 400 rupees whereas, lowering seat will cost you a lot. I will check with my service center manager in Mumbai and ask them about the seat too as I know them well.
