Was in Delavan 2 nights ago with my school bus, having hauled a high school girl's basketball team from Deerfield to the high school here and after dropping them off, I went downtown and enjoyed a nice hot meal at Elizabeth's at an affordable price, just like you mentioned here before heading back to the school. Always stop here when I'm in town, need to check the place out across the street from them as well, they look really good.
The elephant with clown and giraffe status are moved to the side during construction. They will be put back in almost the same spots after park construction is complete.
Years ago someone staying in the hotel started the fire and it spread to the bar. Lucky the whole town didn't burn because their all very old buildings. I guess the guy in the hotel was arrested for arson.

If you are looking to have a good time, Delevan is not the place. It's a really quiet town
I've lived in this area my whole life. There's places worse and better. It's better now than when I was a kid. LOL
