      In my opinion, Frazer would be my option if I didn't myself know how to repair my own GPU's. The North West Repair guy is very knowledgeable, but fixing cracked GPU pcb's is not a good practice. I have stopped offering this as an option because these repairs are prone to fail sooner or later. Once the PCB has been compromised like that, it doesn't matter what you do to try and fix it. It will eventually fail again. It's a question of ethics.

    Woaahhh. A small diode that cost might less than a buck causing a $1.500 card become unused.

    Hi Fraser! Not sure if you remember me, I contacted you regarding my Zotac GTX 1070 Ti Amp! where the Fans RPM speed was stuck at 43% and couldn't be adjusted, I was able to move the slider and click apply but no change to current rpm happened. I tried one last thing and I flashed the same BIOS and it works now! I don't believe it. When I first bought it, the Video card fan was working and I was able to change fan speed until I installed new Thermal Pads and re-applied some Arctic MX-6 Thermal compound then it just stopped working, how this screwed up my bios? I have not a clue. But all is well now, it's was a good bargain that I bought this GPU for $90 CAD. Cheers Fraser and thank you so much for your help on this matter! BTW Love your Videos, especially those well done intros. Well done!

      Hi Sean. Sorry, I lost your chat somewhere in the pile. I'm glad you finally got it working. I'm still surprised thermal pad replacement and BIOS had any relation. It could be something that corrupted the BIOS and after you flashed it it now worked. I'm glad you did not give up and I'm happy you you fixed the issue. 😁

    hi, thank you for your good work, do you recommend upgrading my evga xc hybird 2080ti vram from 11gb to 22 gb or possibly 24Gb? im using for gaming only ,is it risky or normal. also do you work on cards from outside usa example saudi arabia ?

    • @GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql
      @GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql  3 дні тому +1

      Thank you 😁. I am located in Dubai so I accept all GPUs from around the world. The RTX 2080 Ti can be upgraded to 22GB. However for gaming there is hardly any benefit unless you play games which utilise more than 11GB memory buffer. Those AAA games only which can be played with full texture settings. Apart from this there is no benefit in upgrading from 11GB. If you still want to upgrade you can click the link in the description to book your repair. You can check with Aramex or SMSA as they offer competitive shipping rates from Saudi Arabia.
