I’m on a roadtrip right now and I’m stargazing. I’m crying because of how pretty they are. I live in the suburbs and there is a star/plane every single foot or so but out here you can’t see a star without going a single centimeter at most.

I'm not gonna lie, the world is a minefield where existential dread lies around every corner. From the moment we're born we have expectations put on us to one day grow up and build a life of our own. There is no God, nor spirits, nor divine power that brought us here. Though many find comfort in religion, ultimately it is a beautiful lie we tell ourselves to cope with the fear of the unknown. It doesn't have to be this way though. I find an ethereal, almost otherworldly beauty and comfort in knowing that my life isn't decided, and everything that happens is by chance. The only intelligent design is the kind we make for ourselves. The horrifying beauty of the cosmos is enchanting. We are but atoms, drifting alone in space, and most of us are asleep, and one day we'll all be gone. But the short period of time that we did exist, the universe was alive. Our truest earliest ancestors are the Hydrogen molecules that formed the stars that went supernova to form everything else. We are all of us, a piece of the cosmos that will never be forgotten by the cosmos. Even when our bodies decay into dust, and dust into even further breakdown, they will come together again in some way. Matter cannot be created or destroyed, and maybe one day we'll know if there was any point to all of this, but until that day, gods be damned, governments collapse, the laws are made up, and life is beautiful if you can stare into the abyss and give a heartfelt smile when it gazes back.

I remember living near the country side and we would always go camping every weekend. Bonfires, beer, music, laughter, tents, food, and dogs, all the cool stuff. This video helps me reminisce about the colorful conversations I once had.
I thought by moving to the city, life would be much more fun. But the conversations became more about work and lost their color. If I could see the phrases they look very gray. I began to smile less.
Every chance I get to go back to the small towns, It feels like I was wandering around a dark room, but to see the trees, smell the water and cold air… I just cry again. I get it… that’s life, we all get older and move on. If only I knew the last time I would go camping with my friends again, I would’ve hugged them tighter, tell them I loved them more, and appreciate the rainbow serenades we once uttered.

@@kartikey21-10I am assuming you didn’t know a piano version of this existed. I had the video saved on here but for some reason it no longer on my saved videos. It was first introduced to me in a planetary documentary video. That video has been ether removed or set on private. The piano version is really good!! No lie.
