- Not everybody has a boat or a jet ski on their hands to go learn how to foil. How ever we can practice foiling right in our home with a balance board from JUCKER HAWAII.
Have a look at www.juckerhawaii.com
I started with a bread board and a rolling pin -- worked really well. Next I cut some old windsurfing masts into 18 inch lengths so I had different diameter rollers. I then moved to either side to side or to make it harder front to back (moving your weight through your heels to your toes and back again). I now have a longer board and I'm riding it on a very hard rubber ball (size a little bigger than a baseball hard ball) on a hard wood floor (ball moves quickly so it improves your reflexes). This is like moving from checkers to three dimensional chess -- for me this is the closest simulation to in-home foil surfing so far. Practice makes perfect -- this is addicting! For those that live in cold climates this is a fun distraction when the water is frozen. I'd rather be on the water but when you can't be this is still challenging and fun.
Thanks for watching and input. Great idea with the windsurf mast. 🤙🏽
You can even go one step further with a ball! (Like Coolboard, or Bredder Orbit) But all of these are already good for home training. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching and reply. 🤙🏽
Great video! I don’t see your board from this video on your website. Will it be for sale on your website anytime soon? Thx!
Thanks for watching. Stoked you like the board. Check out www.juckerhawaii.com we have all sorts of balance boards available there. LMK if you have more questions.
Thx for your prompt response! I see your blue balance board and others on the “German” section of your website, but I do not see them on your “United State” version of your website. Maybe a glitch with your website/provider??
@@tomdavis430 sadly no we run out of Europe and out of Hawaii. I did not realize you were out of the US. I have some here on Maui. If you like send me a message go mike(at)juckerhawaii.com I have one here on Maui.
This is useless exercise. It's better getting into water and practice there. When in motion, balancing is easier, basic physics, similar to how you cannot learn to ride a bicycle while it's stationary.
Nah bro, doesn’t really work like that 🤙
Elaborate?
