- Have you ever wondered what the difference between 87, 89 and 93 gas is, or as this gas station calls them: regular, extra and supreme? These numbers refer to octane. Octane is the measurement of how much compression a fuel (like gas) can withstand before igniting. But what does this mean to you? Basically, the average car is meant to work with 87 octane gas and using a higher octane will not improvement performance - just cost you more. Some cars do require premium gas, like some sports cars and some turbocharged engines. A 2023 corvette with a 5.4-liter engine is an example. But chances are, 87 octane is right for your vehicle. You get more gas mileage with n3. You use less throttle position. I tried every 93. Shell v power is the best and my vans had gas efficiency leds and 93 would have more miles per gallon with 93.
All bs lmao this doesn't improve anything but your waste of money lol
@@elnewbie2611you must not own a turbocharged engine vehicle 😅
