Deathtolls are always the case in such wars. There is no way around that. And millions of Jews back to Europe, Russia etc? Why? No reason to. Israel has a history over 3000 years with the Kingdom of Israel and Kingdom of Judeah over 3000 years ago clearly existed 2000 years before the first muslims ever invaded the lands. US pressure on Israel to accept, regional pressure on PA to reform to rule the new state competently. Funding from the gulf states to rebuild Gaza.

Palestinians openly declare that they cannot tolerate or accept Jewish/Zionist/Israeli rule on any part of the land they claim was unlawfully taken away from 'them'. This has nothing to do with oppression, the 'Palestinians' have a high standard of living compared to Muslims/Arabs living in other Arab/Muslim countries
They need to update the results and 'paperwork'.
In the spring of 1945, members of the Nazi government attempted negotiating for a conditional surrender, for ceasfire or for a truce. The only option given them was unconditional surrender. Many more non combatants died in that war.
who represents nazi here?
@@mehrazmahmud I'm sorry, I don't understand your question.
Certainly, that is what is expected here. Yet the world since 1945 has become wishy-washy and does not know what winning a war looks like, instead, believes the 'winning' side needs to compromise and give concessions so the 'losing' side can save face.
@@shuki1 I'd probably use stronger language than wishy-washy but yes. I'm picking up what you're laying down. 👍🙂
Thats true I think, the terms of "Only Unconditional Surrender" will prolonged war and it means more of people are gonna die...since WW2 End I think there are no "Unconditional Surrender" terms anymore because it will bring more destruction to both sides
Not once was there a mention of the innocent hostages Hamas are brutally holding. Pathetic that wasn’t addressed
Free Gaza, Free Palestine
The number of hostages held were outnumbered by the number of children killed by the Israeli.
You called that pathetic?
The same hostages who were looked after and enjoyed being under hamas?
You mean the hostages who IDF soldiers killed while invading Gaza for the purpose of liberating the hostages? 🤔
I don't see any mention by you or the WSJ of the THOUSANDS of innocent West Bank Palestinian hostages Israel is holding, many of them children, some from before Oct 7 but thousands more since Oct 7.

Palestinians decide who does what in their country and they have the right to kick out the occupiers and be free again
Free Palestine 💔
1 thing is important. Gaza when Palestinians return should have temporary cogovernance with Israel when its about de-radicalising the population. Hamas has radicalised the children and people so much that this is literally essential to change. And It needs a proper way of doing this. Palestinians wont do it on its own, but is important if you want to co-exist as israelis and Palestinians
Hopefully, the justice and reconciliation tribunals can allow Israeli society to come to terms with what has been done in their name. Still, like Germany post WW2 it may take the next generation to really open up a serious discussion and reckoning over their complicity in apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide. More realistically though, millions of Israelis will have to return home to Europe, the US and Russia. Let us hope that the ICJ, ICC and Security Council can reestablish adherence to international law before the tables turn and Tel Aviv is under the same fire as Gaza. I'm sure you agree. Pray for Israel, it is so sad
@@Crouchy232323 I disagree. Also in my eyes its neither a apartheid for many reasons which Murray also clearly states why it isnt, nor is it a genocide. It is however very tragic. And Israel has the full right to defend itself. However. I am not in agreeance with its hardhandedness. I think it should have been a bit different. However. Deathtolls are always the case in such wars. There is no way around that.
And millions of Jews back to Europe, Russia etc? Why? No reason to. They are right there where they belong in the first place. Their place of origin before muslims expelled the Jews out of their own native lands once Islam spread. Israel has a history over 3000 years with the Kingdom of Israel and Kingdom of Judeah over 3000 years ago clearly existed 2000 years before the first muslims ever invaded the lands.
So I respectfully disagree. Jews have always been the ones connected to the lands and noone else. The Palestinians came way way after that.
If Israelis have to go to europe the Palestinians have to go back to the arab peninsula@@Crouchy232323
@@Ptolemy336VV You miss the point. The argument that Jews lived there 3000 years ago tugs at the heartstrings but is academic when they are surrounded on all sides by hostile neighbours. The prosecution of Israeli leaders, generals and service personnel by the ICC may buy the state some time to reform, but with an armed settler militia, it is unlikely that legal justice will be served. It is more likely to be a fight to the death, which is unfortunate for ordinary Israelis given that post-Gaza civilians are now deemed legitimate military targets. Will you be polishing your boots and picking up a rifle?
@@Crouchy232323 Israeli leaders will never be infront of any judge. If that is what you want then the entire idea is a nonstarter and whoever is stronge will win and I wouldn't bet on Palestine.

Netanyahu and his government are the ones to blame. The Palestinian Authority is doing everything on their power to keep things civil and try to reach and agreement. But as long as Netanyahu says no, unfortunately nothing will happen...
everyone speaking but Palestinian
Why is there no cover in this media about Israel ICC case? Seems fishy.
Because there is no ICC case. There is an ICJ case and the media has nothing to cover until the decision is made tomorrow....
There is a case . Don't think Israel won't answer for this. Bibis plan is to drag usa into this regional conflict so he won't face what's coming to him domestically and abroad.
ICJ ruling too.
Good report WSJ
Why is this even a question? This is a question for Palestinians in all legitimacy, despite the political and practical challenge. A bit disappointed the way this issue WSJ approached this: with colonial powers again throwing dices among them to decide the fate of an already decimated and vulnerable population.
Exactly my thoughts, Palestinians choose their leadership not the rest of the world
Precisely. It’s called western colonial hypocrisy.
When the gaza population were last left to decide their leadership, they elected terrorists. International intervention is very much needed
Lol it is because they have the power to do so. Even if the article said otherwise , it wouldn't matter. Israel and the other players in the region have the power to decide and put on force their own agendas . Palestinians can't do nothing about that just resist and make it more difficult for them but not without paying a heavy price. You like it or not that's how things stand.
there is no legitimate Palestine.
Palestine was formerly a part of the Ottoman Empire.
The division of the former part of the Ottoman Empire was legitimate, the immediate violence following the decision from the Palestinians was not.
Saudi Arabia should govern Gaza
Maybe it is non of your business.
The world is interconnected whether we like it or not. It’s everyone’s business.
Who should govern Tel Aviv!!!!! 🤔🤔
Intresting you commented this. Ive thought for a while Israel should move its capital to Tel Aviv and give Jeruselem to the UN and make it a no millitary or political zone. Kinda like the vatican city but without a ruler.
🤢🤢🤮WSJ has shamelessly, yet again, ignored a pivotal moment in history that pushed both sides to be more extreme 👉The assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, the fifth prime minister of Israel in November 1995. This is so accurate. The West never asks who should govern Christian or Jewish places. They only decide who should rule places which are not theirs.
I'm seeing a solution, a palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza with security being held by regional players rather than Palestinians thmeselves to reassure Israel. US pressure on Israel to accept, regional pressure on PA to reform to rule the new state competently. Funding from the gulf states to rebuild Gaza.
So a state that they cant run themselves? Also, a state that is in two separate parts, as Israel stole the land that connected so they could block any forming of a Palestinian state.
That is the best aolution but getting everyone to agree to that probably will not happen
@@Nobody-Nowhere
They can rule it except for security it will be outsourced for a period of time until trust is rebuild between Palestinians and jews
@@Nobody-Nowhere
No, they can't.
Gazans have already proven for years that they either can't or won't control their own Islamic Extremists the way ever single other Middle Eastern Country is allowed to and does.
You surely know that, right?
So arent you really saying that you wanted the constant terrorist attacks seeking the destruction of israel BUT you don't like the violent consequences of the violence that you support?
It's impossible to have BOTH peace & seek the Destruction of Israel (which is what happens when Gaza control their own security).
The Palestinians do not want a state in the WB and Gaza. They want 'the river to the sea'. They openly declare they won't compromise on this final objective, ever. Any pressure on Israel is pushing it toward a known suicide.
Giving Palestinians their own state will make them the poorest country in the world next to a rich country they hate. America always brings out two-state solutions, ok give back the western United States to the Indians/Spain or give Puerto Rico, Guam or any other territory the US owns a two-state solution. When it did happen, look at Cuba one of the poorest country in the world
So what's your alternative? A one -state solution?
