Oh my goodness, I'm ready! I think I watched a previous video and my worries about my cats health left me overwhelmed. We've struggled but a better diet is key for better health. Thank you!
Thank you, Dr. Doty. My latest adoptee has a gastroenteritis issue that I wasn't told about and has had diarrhea since I got her 3 months ago. Though this is disappointing, I'm happy to give her a good home. She's happy, energetic and adapted very well with my other two cats but boy does she have stinky poo and gas! My vet put her on a prescription diet (Hills Science diet i/d). It has not addressed whatever issue is going on. I've spent $$$ at the vet with no change. I looked into going raw for her but have my hesitations. I'm thankful that I have found your channel and website. I have more confidence following your advice since you are a veterinarian with many years experience. I ordered your cookbook, premix and Icelandic Omega 3 today. I so hope little Lulu will eat it and become healthy and get my other two cats eating it too.
I love your videos! I have a question about this one. Cats are obligate carnivores and usually prone to kidney issues as they get older right? So why give them spinach which is rich in oxalates?
This recipe seems good, but I would probably substitute another fish to make it more budget friendly like steelhead trout (poor man's salmon), sardine or mackerel. Sorry kitties salmon not in your price range until you start chasing the squirrels away from my vegetable garden. You can at least glare at them from the kitchen window. 😂😹🐿(PS kitties don't go outside)

Cooking spinach drastically lowers oxalates
