Is the new version of the Griots foam cannon available on their site? I tried posting a comment on the product page asking if it was the newer version and for some reason they declined to post the question.
When you put the 3oz of Mr Pink in the cannon did you add exactly 32oz of water or do you just “top off” the cannon and call it good? Did you use the same 3oz for the honeydew as well? Thx
i honestly have been using the Griots Boss Foaming Surface Wash since August, it is the only foam soap i have tested with a low PH and you can actually see the dirt being pulled off the paint and in the runoff as i showed in many videos, go back and check the review i did on it with the white Mustang youll see what im talking about.
glad you get it, the thick air foam looks cool but does not clean that well the foam must act as a wetting agent to have the surfactants lift the dirt off the paint, too think not enough cleaning action.
Going to buy the pf22 with 1.1 nozzle and sg28 gun soon and pair with my cc honeydew soap. Electric sunjoe washer. Hoping I can get the foam I'm expecting.
On a side note, I tried the BOSS surface PREP wash for the first time. Wasn't impressed AT ALL. Foamed one door, let it dwell, rinsed and looked like zero dirt was released compared to the other door.
Jeff Brown from Griots told me you need to agitate that product ever so lightly as he was behind the creation of it. I have a gallon but have yet to try it i plan to try it on my Infiniti as soon as it warms up im going to do a full detail on that car.
Jeff also said to put some in a bottle you can pre treat the panels and he said it works awesome as such. give it another go around it has a very high PH so should strip the surface very well. do not get it in your eyes
@@autofanaticcars does the surface wash(white) release dirt(not strip) better without agitation? Sounds ass backwards, but maybe the prep wash needs agitation to work.
wow, was impressed with Mr.Pink, more foam than HD, will love to see how they compare with the PF22. I have been using HD, since I saw it long ago on your videos, but haven't try the GG. Great video
Awesome video, my Man! I have been using the Chemical Guys Foam Cannon and their Honeydew wash, and it has lately been disappointingly watery foam. LOVE the foam output you’re getting with Griots Foam Cannon and Mr. Pink. Think I should just nab the Griots Foam Cannon at this point? Thanks for this.
Hi Jess the Griots Foam cannon is a great piece you cant go wrong plus the lifetime warranty is a no brainer for any shopper willing to spend $100 on one of these units. Give it a shot with your equipment and let us know if you got the same results shown here.
I found that the Mr. Pink is indeed a little more foamier than the honey dew. But i think it’s because honey dew is a bit more watery compared to Mr. Pink right out the bottle
absolutely so many people bought the MTM after viewing my videos and many had horrible results with cheap and expensive power washers. water is important, our water sucks and is mega toxic maybe thats why NYC has the best bread, pizza, bagels and foam ha ha ha
You should look at MTMPorsche's UA-cam channel and check out his bottle mod. Ive done the mod to mine and it has been the best decision ever for the foam cannon!
@@MTMinfiniti.... You are very welcome!!! Figured I could send as many people as I can your way since you came up with an excellent idea!!! This simple mod made my foam cannon 10x better thanks to you!!!
Been using the last of the CG Snow Foam Auto Wash and Mr. Pink. I prefer the Mr. Pink over the Snow Foam. Once both are gone I’ll be looking for a different foaming car wash soap. Looking at Adam’s, Griot’s and Meguiar’s Gold Class Shampoo or their Gold Class Car Wash Soap.
Auto Fanatic If your Soap is as good as your 007 Gloss Enhancer, Wheel Cleaner Foam and Secret Weapon Single Step it will probably produce better foam and out perform all those I mentioned.
Auto Fanatic I love thicker foam mtm is a Piece of art in my opinion works far better than pretty much all the foam cannons I love thicker dry foam so it stays more on the vehicle
Auto Fanatic i’m sure griots eventually will get a better foam cannon but for now MTM is the best hopefully griots get a more foaming soap or maybe you can make a super super extra foaming formula soap like your cleaning wheel solution
@@autofanaticcars kranzle themselves even recommends a minimum orifice size of 1.25mm if using a foam cannon , trust me I had to change my outlet after testing the 1.1m orifice.
Love the Mr. Pink. By far my favorite soap, works well in the bucket and the foam cannon, plus it's very affordable. I'll have to try the griots at some point.
i was surprised it foamed more than honeydew but the Boss cannon proves to be very consistent and at least it works now compared to the first version i tested months back which was a disaster.
@@autofanaticcars yeah, I remember how disappointed you were in that video. Glad that they improved the design - I just picked up the Mckillans one and it's decent. I changed the oriface but my pressure washer just doesn't have enough flow to get the great foam you do. One day.
Thank you AF for the great video on the griots version 2 cannon. Bought it direct from griots to be sure.
All I need now is your wheel cleaner. 😊
James order it up i barely have any left in stock
Can you provide a link to your pressure gun and connector that you use. I want to make sure I’m getting the right one.
What orifices did you use and which orifice did you like snd why?
Thanks for your clarification why you dont use CG snowfoam
Is it weird that I have the PF22 but still want the Griot’s? I just love Griot’s - maybe nostalgia lol
pick one up if you hate it they will take it back. I actually like having two foam cannons both for different moods and soaps is great.
What is revised in the Griots canon?
Is the new version of the Griots foam cannon available on their site? I tried posting a comment on the product page asking if it was the newer version and for some reason they declined to post the question.
don't need a pressure washer?
When you put the 3oz of Mr Pink in the cannon did you add exactly 32oz of water or do you just “top off” the cannon and call it good? Did you use the same 3oz for the honeydew as well? Thx
Now that Griots redesigned their foam cannon it is much better. If anyone has an old one I suggest you contact them for an exchange.
yep good idea
Which soap do you think soaps up the best?

Agree, the GG foam cannon is a keeper. I do not want the air filled foam, just a good slick that works well with my wash mitt.
glad you get it, the thick air foam looks cool but does not clean that well the foam must act as a wetting agent to have the surfactants lift the dirt off the paint, too think not enough cleaning action.
Are you using the griots foaming polish?
Going to buy the pf22 with 1.1 nozzle and sg28 gun soon and pair with my cc honeydew soap. Electric sunjoe washer. Hoping I can get the foam I'm expecting.
everyones results will vary, water , pressure washer GPM etc. but you should be fine with that gear
Is that the MTM trigger?
yes SG28

What happened to the gt350?
its in the garage where have you been? still have it i decided not to use it this winter.
What causes the sputtering when you go to the 1.1mm orfice?

Hey af whats up man you said u love the way mr pink foams but in your opinion which one cleans better outta the 2?? Thank man

So does water play a big factor for a foam cannon? Like for example if I have hard water instead of soft water will I not get a lot of foam?
absolutely so many people bought the MTM after viewing my videos and many had horrible results with cheap and expensive power washers. water is important, our water sucks and is mega toxic maybe thats why NYC has the best bread, pizza, bagels and foam ha ha ha
Auto Fanatic hahaha I see thank you
Thank you for the video. Are you planning to sell your products line through amazon in the future?
selling on Amazon is a loose loose situation for small business if you knew what that entailed i rather not.
I was just wondering that s all.

yeah saw that when he first did it, clever idea for sure.

Are you using hot or cold water through the hose?
cold water always too much legwork to get hot water
What is that spray gun your using?.
MTM SG28
Thank you
Nice Alfa
Can you try a $20 amazon foam cannon
i did months back search my channel, not buying anymore foam cannons i got the 2 best ones and like them both
I am getting really tired of the small mouth on the original MTM Hydro foam cannon, i might look into this one.
i think youll really like this cannon plus the warranty and support is stellar
Sorry but in my opinion mtm foams thicker, my friend and I did the test, why you haven’t. Do a video please about this 2 foam cannons
yes a little thicker but thicker is not always better for cleaning action as i explain in this video, thicker = more air

Also I bought something called foam booster from blackfire, completely trash is supposed to be an additive to create thicker foam im so disappointing
I Always feel like I'm neglecting my car after watching your video I do everything wrong when it comes to washing my car
thats ok practice makes perfect.

Mastersons!
Hi AF, do you have an email address, I can email you in regards to my order?
off my website or in the description of this video whats going on?
Thanks for the quick response, I just emailed you. Nothing serious lol
no, DO NOT USE ANYTHING but a 1.25 orifice with a kranzle in terms of foam cannon, you`re gonna overwork the machine and fry the capacitor.
i tried both orifices that came with the unit no machine will be fried
@@autofanaticcars kranzle themselves even recommends a minimum orifice size of 1.25mm if using a foam cannon , trust me I had to change my outlet after testing the 1.1m orifice.
Swagura Mutsuki Who told you this? I’ve never heard of such a risk
Really? Did not knew it. I guess foaming is like 1-2min job
Auto Fanatic so u can use the pf22 foam gun with the orfice is 1.1mm with the kranzle 1322ts
