- I returned to the town of #Slutsk in the Minsk Oblast, #Belarus where I teamed up with local subscriber and vlogger Alina Harisova for a tour of her hometown with a rather unexpected meeting. I love this cool place. I highly recommend you visit.

Belarus is a hidden gem for explorers or bloggers ;) I was in Belarus 5 or 6 times in the past 10 years and I love it, people are great, women are beautiful, prices are low, it is clean and safe, perfect for tourists who want adventures, not all inclusive at some beach :D
Never get bored watching you travel around Belarus, would love to travel there one day!

Beautiful town. Damn, that bread is cheap. In the States, a halfway decent whole grain loaf costs $5-$7, at least where I am.
Bread is very expensive in US compared to everywhere in Europe
If I may suggest Partizan ...When you have a guest that you give your guest more Camera Time as you seem to focus the camera on you majority of the Time.....per example Mr Bald style of major focus on his guests

The Jewish surname 'Slutskiy' comes from this town. Before the revolution, many Jewish merchants and craftsmen lived here.

They still make cloth on wooden looms in South East Asia. I saw a girl operating a wooden loom talking on a mobile phone (cell phone), 18th. century technology with 21st. technology.
It seems like mobile tech has gotten almost everywhere. I'd half expect that if I took one of those expeditions deep into the Amazon Rainforest and came upon one of the Indian tribes living there, they'd be watching cat videos on a Galaxy S2.
All the towns and cities you visit seem clean, safe and empty
I'm in Belarus now. The reason they're empty, is because most people are at work. In the evening after 7 streets are full of happy people, and the fun continues until 2 in the morning
And YES - Belarus is statistically one of the top cleanest countries in the world. They clean and sweep the streets daily. And SAFE. Been gere for two months now. Never for one second have I felt threatened. People here are too gentle to be violent, unlike in the States, where blood spills by the thousands yearly.
@@gomel47 Poland envy neighbor Belarus its cleanliness. EU entrance immediately resulted in horrible satanic graffiti, deliberately tolerated by rulers, defacing our streets.

Thank you to the young lady that accompanied you and showed you the nice Belt Museum, Palace of Culture and the tasty bread. The museum was very nice, I wish you had spent more time with greater focus and camera dwell time on the belts, showing more details at a slower pace. I wish Western Europe and Americas had Palaces of Culture (funded by the government and not private companies),

another pleasant video, thanks. i always wish that you would show more of your hotels, restaurants and street scenes, not a selfie, as you wander. please suggest to alina to add simple subtitles, no need for running translations, but follow some of the solo japanese ferry and train travel utubers for an idea for both of you how to do.

@@dmitryderevitsky9212 Yes. Belarus is definitely safer than any downtown of major US cities. South Chicago is more dangerous than Afghanistan. People out of the US think everything is rosy and nice here. But it depends.
