I have such a soft spot for you Alison. I really enjoy your channel and you will always remain the first crochet creator that helped me to make my first ever garment. Thank you for adding such fantastic projects and making it all so doable for beginners such as myself. 😊
Hi Allison thanks so much for showing this gorgeous stitch. I am currently making childrens. Ponchos for charity with two rectangles, this stitch would look great .so squishy children will. Love it. Your amazing. Hugs to muttley.. 💕💕💕
I love this stitch! The pattern looks difficult, but it’s actually quite simple! Thank you Alison for showing us this beautiful stitch. I love all of your tutorials. I’ve learned so much about crochet through you. You’re one of my favorite channels ❤️🧶 Anne
Nice! At first glance, I thought it was a popcorn stitch. I am going to do this one as the popcorn stitch is so thick it’s like a rug. This looks lovely.
This looks great Alison! Fab stitch for a lovely warm Autumn/Winter blanket or throw. Gorgeous as a baby blanket too, and such an easy pattern to follow as always! My " to do " list will last me all through those cold months when you don't want to go out, I have a wonderful selection to choose from thanks to you! 😉 Love to you and dear Muttley ❤🐕💙
Oh Alison you make me so happy! Thank you for another great amazing tutorial! I love this berry stitch! I’ve seen this stitch before but never with yarning 3 times which I 💕 love it makes it even better! Thank you my dear sweet friend!
This will be fabulous to make rewashable floor cleaning pads for swiffer type devices. You previously had another good one for making them too, IIRC the stitches were loops. I Know I’ve got it bookmarked, but I think this one will be even better. Thanks so much Alison. You’re the Best!!!
Thanks for reminding me about this stitch. I first did it almost 50 years ago to make a hooded cape for my first child and trying it again found that if the berry is pushed down as the dc row is worked it is easy to see the top of the stitch to be worked hope thís make sense thanks again
Hi Alison this is beautiful and I've mastered it quite quick delighted I'm actually making it as lap blanket for my grandad who turns 95 this yr. must do one for my new grandson á well
Thank you for another great tutorial. I love the way you give hints to make sure we are doing the pattern correctly. You always have the best tutorials and patterns.
This looks lovely Alison, can't wait to get started on it. I've just completed a mint green chenille arrow blanket (your pattern from a year ago) and ready for my next project. I love going back over your vast library on you tube and choosing what to do next - every project turns out well with your excellent guidance. Thank you again for sharing. J:)x
Have fun! I do that too sometimes i am doing a blanket and think this will make a fab video and i look and I had done it 2 yeas ago hahahah Im making a shower mat in tshirt yarn in this stitch hard on my hands as the yarn is very thick but its looking fab
Hi Allison God Bless you for all you do. I am a follower since the channel started. A long time ago you were doing a blanket with a stich like berrie stich and I remember in the second row we had to put the needle on the left side that was separated by just one thread. I forgot how to do it and I have gone through your videos but can't find it. I would send you photos but I don't know how. By the way I was serious about giving me lessons of ENGLISH with Scottish accent.
Allison I was wondering if you have your patterns in written form anywhere? I will even purchase them but I hate trying to crochet and pause and rewatch and then iPad keeps closing it out and hen I have to go find that pattern all over again. Any help appreciated.
spray some water on it and lay it flat on a dry towel, place another towel on the top and leave it to dry, use safty pins and pin down the corners Don't weigh it down this will flatten it just lay another dry towel over it this should be enough to flatten the corners.
if you google crochet blanket size chart there are lots of guides you can print off or write down. EG: toddler, stroller, crib, pram, cot single bed etc if you crochet your chain to the length you need on the chart you will get the size you require. That's what I do as i never remember the size either.
please do not stop sharing your patterns. you make it so so easy. thanks so much

My next project should make into fantastic scarf
I want to make a scarf or cowl out of this stitch. I have a little figuring out to do.
I love this! Do you think it would be ok to use a 3 weight yarn? It would be pretty as a infinity scarf!

How do you do the other one you showed in the peach or pink one. Diagonal?
i will upload it on Thursday this week
Hi Alison my crochet has gone like you said it curling at the top
So what can I do xxx
spray some water on it and lay it flat on a dry towel, place another towel on the top and leave it to dry, use safty pins and pin down the corners Don't weigh it down this will flatten it just lay another dry towel over it this should be enough to flatten the corners.
Please can you tell me how many stitches for a new born baby blanket and how much wool. Thank you.
