Interesting Video, thanks! I have a Panamanian Residency and living part time in Panama City, I also know Bocas. Well, the weather is not typically blue sky though, only in dry season and there is a long rainy season. It's typically not that bad, most of the time it only rains in the afternoon but some month it is raining heavily. There are really nice beaches in Bocas but I couldn't live there. In my opinion better stay in Panama City and occasionally hop to the islands. For me, as an European, Bocas felt a little strange. I was in a Restaurant / Bar and wanted to order something in Spanish and they immediately told me, we speak english here! Sounded a bit like, we (Americans) are in charge here. Maybe I got it wrong but I am not a Latino and neither American so I felt like dopple foreigner.
I just bought a new construction m waterfront home with a dock that is 2 bedroom, 2 bath on Isla Bastimentos for $215k… I think I will gross $30k to $40k per year renting via AirBnb half of the year during the high tourist season.
