"PAINTED ON MY HEART" es un single de «The Cult», publicado en el año 2000 en la promoción de la película "Gone in 60 Seconds", escrita por Diane Warren.
«Aerosmith» grabó una versión de la banda sonora de "Gone in 60 Seconds"; sin embargo, la versión de «The Cult» fue la que terminó en la película.
El mayor de los respetos hacia la excelentísima y fenomenal banda «The Cult», que los cordobeses pudimos recibir en nuestra ciudad en mayo del año 2011, donde ésta maravillosa banda ofreció un concierto formidable en La Vieja Usina, con temas poco transitados y sólo algunos grandes éxitos, en el que todos salieron con caras de felicidad en el rostro :)

Somos una comunidad, que esta moviendo cielo y tierra para a ver si logramos ser escuchados por alguien que por fin quiera traer de vuelta a Aerosmith a nuestra ciudad. Ellos estuvieron solo una vez, el 16 de Noviembre de 1994 en su "Get a Grip Tour"... Lugar, belleza y ganas de tenerlos de nuevo en nuestra amada Córdoba, sobran!!! UNÁMONOS PARA QUE ESTA HERMOSÍSIMA CIUDAD (centro del país... le quedamos a mitad camino a todos), APAREZCA CADA VEZ MÁS EN EL MAPA DE LAS GRANDES BANDAS INTERNACIONALES Y PARA QUE... AEROSMITH VUELVA A CORDOBA EN SU PROXIMA GIRA!!!!

I prefer the version of Aerosmith in my opinion, but The Cult is also great.

The music of this piece plus the words touches everyones' emotions, we can and do let ourselves go. Into a passion that belongs to the person. I thought I would hear Aerosmith really rock out w/the music on this tune, but not yet

I would say that Aerosmith has a very different style
When it comes to a song with lyrics such as “Painted on My Heart”, they imagined something somber, a slow rock ballad.
Competing this to other ballads they’ve done such as “Cryin’” “Fly Away from Here”, “What Could Have Been Love” and more, they rock out in those whilst still having some slow moments.
