- MobileSyrup's The Tech Effect is back, and this time Tasha the Amazon is here to help us learn how to use our phones a little more responsibly.
We've all been told we use our phones too much, but is that true, or is it what we do with our handsets that's the real problem?

I wish this talked more about how our society isn’t built around fostering interactive communities. It’s hot af outside, we live so far apart, traffic and transportation can be horrible, and this grind we were birthed into is so hard to cope with- thus, phone usage.
This is a great point 🚀.
Guilty for doom scrolling 🫣
It's the only kind of scrolling ☠!
Im totally using my phone too much...but I never plan to change 😈
It's okay if it's a folding phone though 📱.
You can’t check your phone 352 times if you haven’t put it away for 15 hours
Valid point.
3....352 times? I... I only check it 8 times a day how in the world.. 😮
You're a true hero! How do you keep yourself from checking it?
@@mobilesyrup i wouldn't say I'm keeping myself from checking it, but not as to say i would i just use my phone a lot times if i didn't control myself. but i suppose having good work ethics, having a gardening interest, and having some pets, and hanging out with friends at a real place from time to time can really be more engaging in real life more or so often. thus not needing to always look at that little pixel box of light emitters.
I wish I could just hang out with my partner, but we live countries apart, my only way of interacting with him has been through my phone :'D
Our phones definitely help us connect with our loved ones live never before, unfortunately, it’s just so hard to limit ourselves!
At first I thought you were Trisha Paytas
Nope! It's Tasha the Amazon!
She seems *WAY* more chiller and sane than Trisha lol
I’m sorry, but this comment just screams “I don’t normally see ethnically diverse people and I think it’s appropriate to liken them to the first person I think of”
@@WHALEx3 wtf are you talking about? that massive jump to conclusions is insane
@@GloriousVibe What part of my comment confused you?
Well I used my phone to watch this sooo... I fail
Same. It's tough our there, especially when smartphones are such a big part of our lives.
