@pinpanpun92 it's called off roading, not driving your car purposely into 5 feet of water. all of your "off road" vehicles are probably hydro locked 🫣
First modification on my new 23 GX,Yes you can feel the difference car is more responsive about the MPG is more easy to do 15-16 City 35-40mph and 22-23 highway 65-70mph.
You're welcome Jose! I'm always watching GX videos as well. I just uploaded a new video of my installation of CarPlay if you want to check it out. A few other GX videos coming soon.
First part of the tank was around 18 MPG because I didn't disconnect the battery to reset the ECU. Second half of the current tank is around 22.5. I'm assuming the car adjusted to new airflow. Lots of variables with driving and MPG though. Still pretty early to conclude if it works or not.
MPG is about the same one week after installation. Supposedly if you don't disconnect the battery after installation it takes your car time to learn how to regulate the air flow. Lots of variables in MPG though. The engine does seem a bit louder. Could be wrong, but the horsepower seems a bit higher.
That OEM piece is shaped like that to allow for water fording
This
That may be true, but if anything, it’s only designed to help with splashes, if you got water coming up the sides of that thing you are effed
@@Jantonvidyou just don’t go off-roading

You are getting better mileage because of KN filter
Possibly. I think the main difference is the way I drive and the Lucas fuel treatment
@austinc691 try Redline fuel treatment. It worked better than Lucas and techron for me and many others. Kind of pricey though.
Added to my 2012 gx and feels like performance is worse
did MPG go up?
Lots of variables, but it stayed pretty much the same. Lucas full treatment seems to have made a difference.
what is the part number
PTR03-35160-AE. You'd probably get the same results if you just cut the lip off the original piece.
After the battery relearn, did you see different results, or about the same?
About the same. I get between 20 to 22 MPG. If this piece improves things you could get the same results by cutting the original piece.
So, what are the results? Any improvement?
Not much. I get between 20 to 22 MPG. If this piece improves things you could get the same results by cutting the original piece.
Thanks for the video always good to see me gx content.
