      They’re as valid as jewelry as plugs with large fronts to them that make them lopsided or spirals. Just as any jewelry like that don’t wear them overnight, take out your jewelry or wear silicone tunnels.

      I just bought taper kit 14g -4g but didn’t get plugs . My goal size is 0g . Wanted to get plugs at 4g . Could I wear my tapers or not a good idea .

      @@Bee-xy9ms Jeez..what kind of goofy set is that :/ I got a stainless steel set from 14g - 00g including two tapers per gauge + 2 pair of tunnels per gauge (one set regular SS + one set rainbow SS) for $16.99. I've never heard of a set being sold with such an odd range, 14g - 4g + no jewelry included.. sucks man. Wish you could have gotten something better.
      As for your question, you CAN wear the tapers as jewelry.. but it's not a great idea. The hole won't have even weight distribution n may heal kinda lopsided as a result, but you dont really have much choice if you dont have other jewelry

      sleep without any jewelry in your ears, your ears may it may not shrink depending on their size, and how healed they are. your body heals over time. keep your ears clean and moisturized if you need to downsize, wear safe jewelry at a smaller size if you don't want to start all over. and again, keep your ears moisturized clean and not infected. depends on how bad they are and what size.

      Alayna Ybarra i had blowouts for over a year before I started doing something. What helped me: I took my plugs out for a whole weekend, then I downsized 4mm (so instead of 20mm I had 16), I massage them with jojoba oil three times a day for 5 minutes, I continiued this for 3 months, than I got an Size bigger, massaged 2 times daily, doing that for 2 months, than going bigger again, and I still massage them twice a day, and that helped me sooo much 💕

    I wear silicon all day every day unless I'm going out, then I put in my fancy wooden plugs. (I don't go out often, and I don't always put in the wood ones when I go out.) I never heard about silicon being bad and have never felt any negative affects from them. The worst thing that happens is they sometimes fall out while I'm sleeping or changing and I don't even notice, lol.

    THIS VIDEO HELPED ME SO MUCH!
    I have watched a ton of videos, and start stretching tomorrow, and this one helped the most.
    I have a friend who is currently at a 0g, and i asked them for tips.
    They told me to use vasaline as lubricant, and to buy the cheapest acrylic tapers.
    Before buying it all i decided to do a bit more research, and after reading professional articals and watching several videos i changed everything.
    Im now buying the saline stuff, proper lube, and medical stainless steel tapers/plugs.
    Im hoping though its more expensive, it should help me a lot through the journey of stretching, atleast in the long run

    I'm at 4 mm and I already started to use tape. Works wonders. I still use tapers but not so much for stretching, rather just to see how much I still need to stretch. So far stretching up to 3mm was super easy, I think I could have skipped the first size entirely as before that my normal earings stretched my ears a bit with weight. 3mm to 4mm was a bit harder so I decided to try taping. I had to cute the tape in half and it's quite hard to wrap around a small plug like that but thanks to it I got to 4mm without problems

    As for #7, I use surgical tape. Bondage tape and PTFE have so many chemicals you don’t want on your skin because your skin will absorb these chemicals and cause havoc in your body. Surgical tape sticks to the plug and doesn’t bunch up like I’ve have PTFE do and doesn’t slide off like I’ve have bondage tape do. Also, it’s meant to be on skin for long periods of time so it doesn’t have harsh chemicals and won’t irritate.

    I have NO PAIN AT ALL and I went from a 8g to 4g in 6 days then I went from 4g to 2g....i never skipped sizes or blow outs, my ears stretch well..... my goal size is 0g and so i will be at a 2g for a few months. I think the waiting time varies per person

      Even if you didn't have noticeable pain, blowouts or tearing, there are micro tears in your ears if they haven't stretched all the way. if i were you, whether you feel pain or not, wait at least 2/3 months before stretching, and massage your ears everyday, this helps the natural stretching of the ears. ye i do guess everyone's body and ears are different, but always slow down with stretching, especially if you want even, scar free ears :3

    I went from the lowest size to 10mm in about 4 months, I stopped if it hurt too much and always did it after a hot steamy shower! Worked okay, after a year or so now I’m going up to 16mm but the tapers are only available in 2mm stretches so I’m taking not super slow

    Hi ! I'm new to stretching and im at a 10g and which these were the only ones available I had to use acrylic tapers its been almost a week now and the more research I do I hear its a bad thing so my next size up I will use stainless steel. My question is I still feel a little pain or something kind of like heat but it's no bleeding or puss and it only does it from time to time am I doing anything wrong !? Or should I just give it a little time to completely heal and those sensations will go away ?

    Thankyou for this... really helpful I’m a new stretcher. ⭕️ I just have 1 question only today I stretched to 4mm is it ok to leave a stretcher in until I feel ready for a plug? When is the best time to use a plug? And is it better for healing if I do?
    Thanks 🙏🏻

      Yes definitely, but I wouldn't leave a taper in for more than a couple hours because if you keep them in they can make your ears stretch unevenly

    first video i watch from your channel. i gotta say its really helpful man thanks! i started stretching my ears back in April and right now im at a 1G!!! i cant wait to get to the bigger sizes man im so stoked! i started stretching with tapers from hot topic (i know thats stupid lol) never really had any problems with those acrylic ones, but i did notice that once i got down to a 6g my lobes would feel really uncomfortable and sometimes even started bleeding. i did some research and found out that shit was bad for my ears. ever since then i just stuck with stainless steel and i gotta say to this day i havent had any problems. ive had my current size in for about 2 weeks now and im so tempted to go up to a 0g. i dont have pains or itching or anything like that, i actually dont even feel like my tunnels are even in but like you said i should take my time. when would be a good time to go up another size? thanks for the info man!

  • @brookel565

    what are you supposed to stretch with after the recommended size to stop using tappers? Also i went from a 8g to a 6g, just putting the tunnels in my ears with no tapper. No pain or discomfort what so ever, is it alright doing it that way?

    I bought your guys jojoba oil a couple weeks ago it's amaziiiing and yes I agree on going slow especially if you use silicone tunnels to stretch like I do, if you go too fast you always end up having to downsize or even start over like I have 5 different times

    I just went to an expensive- all american made product (we're in usa), whatever that titanium medical grade hospitals use in surgical implants is used for all piercings Tattoo place. Well they used a Taper to stretch my lobes from 10mm to 11mm and put Stone gauges in. They also bled and 3 days later (today) I cleaned and a little dried blood came off and they are bleeding some more. As for future piercings they are asking $50/nipple. ****Is any of this right?**** taper, stone, bleeding, - even pricing for piercings?

    Need advice.! I’ve just bought a taper and plug kit from 14g-00g I’m at a natural 6g hoop and I’m stretching to a 4g got one plug in, the right ear took the plug just great with ease, left ear is more resilient to inserting the plug following taper tool. Bag side of the lobe will not let the plug pass through with out tearing? What’s your recommendation?

    Hi. I’m writing to ask a question. I used to stretched to 5/8. Sadly after having my son my ears somehow got closed a little bit and I didn’t know it so when I put plugs back in they stretched out and got infected so I have to start over. My question is how long should I wait between going to the next size? I know this is something I probably should already know since I’ve had my ears stretched before, however I stretch them the wrong way and this time I want to do it the right way. Thanks in advance.

    I'm new to all of this and I have a couple of questions. What would be the best type of plugs to wear on a daily basis, should I switch out the plugs to something softer or take them out for sleeping,and how often should I clean them once I've reached my desired size and what is best to clean them? Thank you😊

    • @selinx956
      @selinx956 6 років тому

      Bobbi Michelle cornella hello✌️ i hope i can help you :D for daily wear i recommend organic materials, steel and glass (but not on cold days because it keeps the cold what is very bad for your ears) and Acrylic. I take them out every Night because it helps the blood flow through your lobe. I clean them every morning with warm water and soap, dry them, moisturize my ears with jojaba oil, put some on the plugs too, and then I insert them again.

    • @galaxyworms7529

      +Kaige Waisner Silicone from KaosSoftware is okay to wear in healed ears. Acrylic is iffy. Its only recommended for short term ware, if at all.

    • @rockaholic9699
      @rockaholic9699 8 років тому

      Both silicone and acrylic are not recommended for long periods of time, but if you buy either of them the best place to get them would be an actual piecing shop. That way you know you are getting quality jewelry.

    • @Plugyourholes
      @Plugyourholes  8 років тому +1

      +Avenged April I disagree. Piercing shops can vary in quality dramatically, and tend to go through dramatically less product than an online retailer. This means that all of there product is coming from a (often the same) wholesaler. Where as the top 3-5 retailers of plugs (like Plug Your Holes) can have product manufactured for them to their (or our) specifications. I'd stay away from Amazon and Ebay, but a trusted online source is probably your best bet.

      +Avenged April so I'm going to stretch my ears for the first time and I was wondering if I could go from 16g to 10g cause there isn't really a HUGE difference

      not the best idea. I wouldn't skip any sizes ever. I'm at an 8 currently, and 14-12 pinched a bit, so it will definitely hurt going from 16 to 10. And, surprisingly, you can get a blowout even at such a small size (plus cats butt and irritation and all kinds of stuff you don't want). even though the "gauge" sizes from 18/16g to 2g are for the most part small jumps, your ears aren't as elastic as they will be once they continue to stretch, and they are more likely to rip or blow out.
      Long story short, no. Probably not the best idea.

    Had my piercings reopened in late May with 16 gauge tapers at a body piercing place. Have slowly moved up to 10 gauge. I love taking out my tunnels and being able to see light through my ear lobe. Not sure if i will go to 8 gauge but who knows.

    If one of my piercings are off centered should I get them relieved or should it not matter? I got my ears repierced yrs ago so you can tell where the original piercing was. And also for what time period do you need to wear tapers? I can't wear them to work
