MG just keep upping their game. I love the latest exterior styling cues. Generously equipped interior with great tech. Amazing economy too. Great review Ben, bring on the road trip.👍
It’s leaps and bounds ahead of the previous one in every way, and it drives sooo differently, we need to drive the PHEV now 😀 thank you George hope alls good with you.
Looks great in Australia the trophy version comes with the panoramic roof, space saver spare wheel and 10 year 250000 km. Warranty for £20,995.00. we always get ripped off in the UK.
It's amazing how much variation there is with specs when it's a different county, isn't it. Just don't be telling people in the UK that the Australian version has a panoramic, lol. Thank you, @firefighter387
Yep,same with skoda, looked at the australian market usually better specd and averaging 2000k cheaper and they have upd the warranty to 7 years( was already 5!) and uk stills gets a meagre 3 yr with loads of exclusions.
Seeing this all over, @StephenRandall-x6s - different markets really highlight how much more things cost here at the moment. Hopefully things will getter. Thank you.
The backside got an upvote for me, its clean and mature but for some reason, i prefer the pre facelift for the front. Its more imposing and got more present 😉
Saw them this week in the showroom - this is a vast improvement on what was already a very nice car. The deal breaker for me is the lack of panoramic roof - I can’t fathom why they’ve removed this even from the outgoing model. Whilst the interior it very nice it’s very, very dark - I have a 2&3 year old and they’d hate the dark rear. One point - this is a brand new HS not a facelift of the old one and finally they have aligned the frontal styling of all new models. We won’t see a new one for a while now.
You're right @MarthaMansbridge,, and my mention of Gens may be a little confusing. It's based on the Roewe RX5 platform. We are hoping that the panoramic returns in future iterations, although we didn't find it too dark in the back, even with the privacy glass.
Got mine today, and all I can say is it's fantastic. I can connect my phone to the car and open it when miles away. I can also track it.
