YOU are my Saturday blessing with these classic Welk Shows!!! Only four years old this year of 1958. LOTS of fun memories of being with my farm family back in the dear days gone by!!! Thanks!!! ;o)
People thought the world would end in the 1950s because of the new atomic weapons so there were many songs about the judgement day and the end of the world!!!
One Champaign music the band played in this 1958 episode I first heard on the early black and and white version of the captain kangaroo in the 1960s!!!
My Grandma and I lived on a dead end road, but every Saturday night we were invited to the best party, thanks to Lawrence Welk.
So much closer to the original music of the 1930s still has the original flavor of that era!!!
Thanks for keeping this wonderful music alive for all to enjoy!!!!
Glad you enjoy it!
