So, I have 2 6000XPs with 2-Power Pro Batteries. My question is how is the chargeverter connected? Do you feed power from the chargeverter to the input ports on the 6000XPs with equal lengths of wire, do you simply charge on one battery as they are supposed to be wired in parallel, do you set up another sub panel and wire the chargeverter into the sub panel and put the batteries on breakers? or put outputs from breakers wired to the generator inputs on the 6000XPs
Is this unit capable/compatible with Forklift batteries (48v)? Signature Solar says "yes"... just asking to see if anyone has attempted to charge their 1000Ah battery banks with it or not. I am considering it but I want to be sure before I purchase it. Thanks for any insight!
Note the warning on page 2 of the Chargeverter-GC User Manual about not establishing closed loop comms with your ESS if that ESS is already in closed loop comms with an inverter. An interesting conundrum, eh?
Hmm.... I hadn't seen that. But I called and asked earlier today how one would connect the GC to the batteries if they were connected to the inverters. They didn't know and said they would get back to me.

What's the best generator with automotive stsrt to use with this system? Thank you
I don't know. I'd just be guessing at this point.

I can’t see why it wouldn’t be compatible. You would just need to tweak the voltage settings a bit, which is much easier on this new unit.
@@EastTexasHomestead thank you for responding! I thought the same but I wanted a second opinion just to be sure...greatly appreciated!
@@rongray4118 You bet. Feel free to use ETHSAVE50BUCKS for $50 off if/when you buy from Signature Solar
