@@kareemdixon4800 Gerald played on two albums for Bishop and the Choir "I'll Make It" 1985 & "Oh Lord We Praise You" 1991 after that he left to play with Teddy Riley's group "Guy" then Jason Hendrickson came in along with the late Jeff "Lo" Davis in 93 & 94 then in 95 Jeff Lez came in and been with choir ever since. All 3 of these guys are incredible and God has blessed them to do great things. I'm not trying to challenge you I'm just trying to inform you with facts from their resumes. For those of you who don’t know WHO your watching or WHAT your watching. That’s Ms Reggie Parker original bass guitar player of this song! The man behind this bass line. He is the original creator!
The Brother on the Bass is absolutely BAD...Wow our Church would love to have him. I know that he's using his gift for the Lord but I hope that they are paying him well!
Maaaan, those cats are the baddest. We also have Alan ‘Snoop’ Evans,Tony Russell, Darrell Freeman and Sharay Reed. Big Mo influenced my playing the most.
Too much slapping. Apparently he and other Bass players in a Gospel setting mostly in a predominantly African American Churches do this. As the late James Brown says "Stay in the pocket"!
He made that 4 string talk!
Bassist! One of my favorites!
Both Reggie Parker & Jeff Lesley are LOCKED in the pocket!! That what a song should feel like a nice smooth ride. #bassanddrums 🔒🔒🔒🔒🔒
I don't think that's Jeff🤔 I believe he is the church drummer.

@@rodneyskinnermusic Hear you Sir, but I'm very familiar with LFT seeing that Bishop Walker is very very close with my family.
Bishop Walker's original drummer was Gerald.

Wish the sax player would stop playing.

Yeah it is kinda whach
Yeah, he was totally off!!
Those awesome musicians seem unbothered. How humble! What a great opportunity for the saxophonist to learn and grow. My hat is off to them all.
This band is so good

Love Mr. Parker’s playing! He’s straight 🔥 That beginning is just sick!
It sure is.
The sax player needs practice
I love horn but not needed for this groove.

Maaane he playing the devil out that bass ! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
I would love to hear Reggie on a five-string
He doesn't want to play 5 sings, his signature guitar can actually be tuned in a 5 string by shifting a lever. His nickname Reggie 4 strings parker
Man this is good
One of the hardest things to do in music is to be unique and very excellent at the same time. This man is both! 😊
"My God... how amazing, pure anointing!" The Best song...
real bad boy bass playing
The Brother on the Bass is absolutely BAD...Wow our Church would love to have him. I know that he's using his gift for the Lord but I hope that they are paying him well!
Holy guac........stunning.
На 00:03:07 басис психует...Правильно! В религиозном экстазе но под рок концерт...ннсовместимо....
сдохнуть так как робот играть для них
@2:55 the drummer shoulda kept that lil groove going for a min that was 🔥🔥
Yes. He definitely should’ve played that a lil longer. Just the band going and then the choir director bringing everything back in on a 1,2,3 count.
Just like at 4:11
Reggie "back in my day" Parker 😂.
The sax player is getting on my nerves 🤦🏽♂️
The saxophone OMG
DEMON on that bass. Living Legend

Maaaan, those cats are the baddest.
We also have Alan ‘Snoop’ Evans,Tony Russell, Darrell Freeman and Sharay Reed.
Big Mo influenced my playing the most.
I hope the guy recording was playing the sax too, that would explain a lot.
