I don't understand all the other comments. This helped me decide to use a bottle which seems more like my breast. I got rid of the easy drinking bottle. This helped my baby adjust back to the breast
What about when you don't have the choice to do breast first before giving a bottle of pumped milk because the baby was in the nicu? He had formula for one day while I was trying to get my milk to come in after delivering 5 weeks early due to preeclampsia. We have successfully established a solid pumping supply, which I am so happy about, but I would love to be able to get the baby to feed directly from the breast consistently and only use the bottle sparingly. I am having such a hard time transitioning to this. I would like to be able to do both since I have so much pumped milk stockpiled in the freezer and my husband likes the bonding time with the baby (I also like being able to get sleep and he can feed if I need a nap).
This has zero information and only advertisement for zero set mom.
