Colleen! Tip for the boba drinks, shake or stir the cup before drinking! Most (if not all) of those layered drinks should be mixed together to form one uniform color before drinking otherwise you'd be drinking all the flavoring at the bottom. For example the Tiger Sugar drink, all the sugar at the bottom had to be mixed in, so that's probably why it tasted extra sweet; this tip is especially true for any matcha drink! Layered drinks are meant to be photographed (which is why they're layered lol) then mixed to be enjoyed!

I would love to see a “Meet The Twins” video, especially filmed in their nursery. Its been so disheartening how hard your pregnancy, birth and first few weeks of the twins lives have been. It would be so lovely to have a celebratory moment appreciating everything about your babies. I remember how over the moon you were in the video announcing Flynn’s name, and it would be lovely to see you have a similar moment with Maisy and Wesley
I think there's a difference between "body positivity" and *toxic* positivity. It's important to be able to recognize, understand, and cope with negative (or even neutral) thoughts, and I think it's unrealistic to expect everyone to always love all of their body all the time no matter what, especially when it's going through changes. I think it's important to not only be accepting of where their body is, but also accepting of your opinion of it... And two things can be true at once. As a trans (AFAB NB) person, I objectively thought my boobs were hot shit...but I hated them on me. I had top surgery over the summer, and I can't imagine my body having boobs anymore, and I'm so grateful to feel more comfortable in /that/ way, but I'm still trying to get used to my new body in other ways. Expecting everything to be amazing all the time no matter what is just unrealistic, and I think it's great to be able to acknowledge what we're feeling in the moment, even if it's not what we "should" be feeling. (Completely other rant/topic...I've recently been working really hard to try to reduce the amount of times I use the word "should" in relation to my own thoughts/actions, cuz I've just got no more emotional space for that kind of guilt and expectation and disappointment)
You have such an ideal body in my eyes! Beautiful prior to pregnancy, during and after! 💖 I wish you could see yourself that way too. I think you have a tremendous figure after delivering TWINS! It shouldn’t be humanly possible✨🥰 Love yourself Colleen, you deserve it!!!
@@annerchisline9641 the world is harsh enough on women without your judgy comments. so many women struggle with their bodies prior to and after pregnancy and birth and that doesn’t mean they have BDD or an eating disorder.
@@Corn22 It's been a part of her being here in her vlogs for over 10 years though. She films it and talks about it all the time. She has an unhealthy, dangerous eating disorder and an unfortunate venue here to preach about it to very young fans and viewers. It's irresponsible of her to do it as an "influencer". She needs to stop discussing it every day in her vlogs and go get help for it.
@@Corn22 Also, you realise she's judging herself in this very vlog, right? What is the difference between her doing it and my commenting on her own judging comments with the truth about her eating disorder/body dysmorphia?
‘Body positivity’ is about body ACCEPTANCE, about not being discriminatory against other bodies and accepting that everyone looks different and that’s alright! Don’t beat yourself up over not loving how you look every second- that literally happens to every single person on the planet! Self love is about loving the way you look and it’s a journey with ups and downs for all of us, unfortunately a lot of people confuse ‘self love’ and ‘body positivity’. You’re being body positive already by acknowledging the amazing things your body is doing 💜
I like to practice body neutrality Colleen. I’ve gone through many health issues where my body would fluctuate all the time and I had to learn that confidence is amazing but pretending like I LOVED how I looked every single day was so toxic for me. Letting myself have bad days and understanding that I don’t need to be positive 24/7 helped a ton! Nobody is positive all the time. We’re human.
i watch colleen every time i’m sad or stressed because she’s like my comfort person stg no matter what the video is or what she’s talking about it just calms me down
Tortilla Talk Question: Does any of your UA-cam buds have a dyson air wrap that you could try out with them as a main channel collab? This way you can try it out without the financial commitment. Then if you do like it then you can purchase after the dyson is back in stock. Maybe do half of your head with your current hair method and the second half dyson air wrapped. Regardless! Happy New Year, and I hope and pray 2022 has more blessings rather than heartache. Love you Colleen and the fam 🤗💕🎉
Colleen, what you’re calling “deconstructed sushi bites” is basically temakizushi (hand-rolled sushi), which is totally a thing in Japan. (Ok, the toppings are probably gonna be different in Japan, but yeah, it’s a common thing to eat at home)
I’m reiterating a looott of comments, but Colleen I found it soo helpful for you to talk about your body image struggles. I’m plus sized and recently had to have a conversation w my mom about me not having any intentions to lose weight, on purpose, for my wedding in april. It has been so ingrained in ALL of us to have prejudice against our own bodies, you’re fighting an uphill battle but mama YOURE WINNING!!!!!
i'm so freaking happy that we went from tortilla talks hearing about maisy's progress or lack thereof, to doing a whole tortilla talk with maisy sleeping on you 💜💜

The mom in me really appreciated the honesty about learning to love your body through all the transitions of motherhood. Body positivity is a beautiful message, and so is honesty in the struggle. You're doing amazing Colleen.
TTQ: were you ever able to find a nanny you feel comfortable with? Also, I so appreciate the honest body convo. What we choose to say and tell ourselves matters, but you sharing the struggle as well, and acknowledging that you are in fact CHOOSING to speak kindness over yourself, even when you don’t feel it - is powerful.
Would your mom ever do a q&a with you? Not everyone is comfortable in from of the camera isn’t but she seems so sweet and fun. It be interesting to ask her some funny questions

i have watched every vlog this year and i never comment, but since it’s the end of 2021 i just wanted to say that you truly have gotten me through this year. no matter what my previous day had been like, every morning i turn on your vlog while i do my makeup and honestly it’s the best way to start my day. i love listening to your tortilla talks, watching flynn grow up, and watching you go through your journey of life. i’m sure you hear this all the time, i just wanted to personally say, thank you so much colleen. ❤️
Tortilla Talk Question: Since you have Maisy and she is your first daughter do you think when she grows up will you pass the role of Miranda down to her is she wants to be her? I love you Colleen, you make every day shine brighter!
I struggled with the changes in my boobs post breastfeeding. Sometimes I still do and I've been done breastfeeding for 4 years now. I can definitely say that becoming ok with bodily changes after pregnancy and breastfeeding is SOOOO HARD! your body produced some beautiful works of art named Flynn, Maisy, and Wesley! That is so awesome! You got this
Hi Colleen. I have a terminal illness, and so I've had to have lots of operations and have three permanent tubes and an ileostomy bag. I want you to know that it is SO NORMAL and valid to feel as you are about your body right now. When something is done too you (like your terrifying c-section), its both the realisation that you don't have control over your body and how it looks now. I made a video on this on my channel and people came for me because I wasn't yet in a place where I felt cofortable with all the modifications I had to have. It would be a bit weird to have such a traumatic time with your body (pregnancy, birth, pumping) and not react with a few reservations. You've got this. I'm a long time fan and haven't commented before. Take care. Your babies make me smile so so much whenever I see them. Flynn is being soooo sweet, and you and Erik are doing so well. I don't know how you're being so productive! It's going to be so amazing for the twins to look back on this time and to. understand what the NICU actually was rather than you just telling them. Loads of love. xxxxx
The fact that you are talking about your body and your insecurities (totally human to have) while your baby girl is in bliss cuddling your body. Love your honesty!
id recommend shaking your boba teas before piercing the top so that all of the sugary & tea goodness mixes! also, some of my favorite boba shops around LA includes tiger sugar, sunright tea studio, and boba guys - the tea and boba quality is much better than its boba time :)
I love you Colleen! Tortilla Talk Question: Do the cousins want to be involved with the twins as much as Flynn does? And when hey they are around does Flynn still want to play/cuddle with them as much? You’re doing great Mama ❤️
Colleen. Thank you for your honesty about your body image post babies. It’s a very real thing women deal with and as someone who is afraid to have a baby/get pregnant, your real take and real opinions on pregnancy and how it went for you, was insanely helpful in showing me that as a biological woman, to realize our bodies are magical. Thank you for reminding me of that! 💙

I CAN'T get over how AMAZING Flynn is with Wesley and Maisy!! The fact that Maisy kept smiling and looking at him with such love when he kissed her head!! AHHH so precious
Colleen luv, you talking about how you don't feel comfortable currently in you body was actually the best thing for us to hear. We all feel insecure sometimes and seeing an influencer or someone we watch talk about their flaws ect is really comforting and human. Not that we want you uncomfortable in your body. You are beautiful but you already know that 🥰 What i can say is that I'm happy you kept the clip in xx
colleen, i'm going through definitely the hardest time in my life right now and your vlogs honestly help me feel so much better even for just a little while. love you so much
obviously nobody can cure insecurity, everybody is insecure about something, even if they say they are not. for me, its my stretchmarks. I try to convince myself im pretty with them, but its hard. and Colleen, even though I know saying anything wont make you think your body shape is perfect and pretty, I still will. You just gave birth to not 1, but 2 babies! thats incredible! you are so lucky to have that, and although its changed your body a bit, you are still SO pretty I can't even begin to explain it. Like wow! gorgeous mama alert! and your children are SO lucky to have a loving, and accepting mother like you. You are doing a fantastic job. and your body is perfect the way it is.
I used to not be fond of my stretchmarks either but that trend where ppl put glitter on them and made them look pretty changed how I see them and I actually like mine now. My main insecurity rn is my cellulite :/ but that's something for us to work on in the new year :)
The deconstructed sushi rolls is such an epic idea! 😍 I am definitely make that this week but I might try it with wasabi seaweed instead of the regular flavor. And thank you for your honesty about the struggle to love and accept your body as it changes postpartum. 💗 It is something many women struggle with but most women don’t have the courage to talk about it. I hope that you have a Happy New Year! 🎉
Honestly, I feel like it was just yesterday I was watching the birth of Flynn and being so happy for you. I can’t believe how fast time flies from 1 baby to 3 kids. Flynn has grown up on this channel for us to see and I can’t wait to see your twins grow up together. I hope you have a great new year ❤️❤️
tortilla talk: i liked how you talked honestly about how you feel about your body rather than just being positive about it (because i personally feel that that honestly isn’t really realistic). would you be open to talking more about that? i’ve just heard you always say incredibly positive stuff and i don’t really remember hearing how you actually felt about it. absolutely no pressure to talk about this, i know it’s a difficult topic for many people to talk and hear about. love you no matter what!
tip for boba: shake/mix the layers together to get all the flavors together! it helps distribute the sweetness/tea/milk even though it makes it look weird.
Tortilla Talk question: In a recent vlog you showed a new pearl necklace that you purchased in celebration of Miss Maisy. In that vlog you also mentioned that you bought Erik something in celebration of Wesley that you were planning on giving to him for Christmas. I was wondering what Erik's surprise was?
I love her necklaces! ❤️ The story of the pearl being a future heirloom is so cute!! Also, I’m a Scorpio too and the Scorpio necklace is so my athletic!!
I struggle a lot with body issues I have even struggled with an eating disorder off and on most of my adult life. I don’t think you are wrong for talking about not liking how your body looks that is just normal I think for most people. Sure in a perfect world it would all be body positivity all the time but it’s just not the case. I think you have an amazing body that carried all your babies and you should be proud of it and I hope you can grow to love it more in the future.
I really appreciated that you left in the clip about you talking about your changing body and how that can be hard. As someone who is struggling with body image, it was a great reminder that talking positively about yourself is a great way to work towards truly believing the wonderful things you’re saying. Thank you for this reminder :)
Tortilla Talk: Hi Colleen!! Just wanted to let you know the day before Maisy came home I said a prayer for your family and I prayed and prayed and prayed all that day. Then two days later you posted the Vlog that Maisy had came home. I truly think that God is with your family and he loves you ❤️ Edit: can you make a recreation of the “My Family” music video now that you have some new editions to the family?
Tortilla talk question - have you guys thought about how the kids bedrooms will be split? Will all three kids have their own rooms, or will the boys be together with Maisy in her own? Or the twins on their own? I love your videos 💗 thank you for making me smile daily
Tortilla talk question: how long do you think you’ll pump breastmilk for if the twins never take to breastfeeding? I lasted 5 months pumping before switching to formula (and solids), it’s a full-time job even just for 1 baby I literally can’t imagine twins 😱
Especially if she spends the whole night feeding and then pumping, she never gets to rest and I'm worried it's gonna impact her well being. Pumping is a LOT of work
I absolutely love how you speak! Insecurities are reality and everyone has them and they are all different. I appreciate how you knock that wall down and you are real about it. Keep speaking true to who you are, it's inspiring!!!
I’m so glad that you do talk about your body and weight because I feel that a lot of people are going through self doubt and insecurity and just talking about it can help! Love your videos! Thank you Colleen!!
Hearing Flynn learn and trying the twins pronouns is so beautiful… it really shows you how much kids learn. Like “she opened she’s eyes”, he’s trying to use the right pronouns for the bubbas and learning grammatically correct terms as well. I don’t know why I find it so pure and cute, I guess it’s just my little teacher heart.
Colleen, you HAVE TO remake the "my family" video you made almost a decade ago, there are so many new family members! The twins and Flynn would be so cute in it :)
Flynn telling maisy a joke and then saying “she’ll laugh when she grows up like me” when she didn’t smile was hilarious

It shouldn’t be humanly possible✨🥰 Love yourself Colleen, you deserve it!!!
yes, she looks amazing
It will never happen. She has a serious eating disorder and body dysmorphia.
You’re being body positive already by acknowledging the amazing things your body is doing 💜
collens vlogs really brighten my day
for reallll
I like to practice body neutrality Colleen. I’ve gone through many health issues where my body would fluctuate all the time and I had to learn that confidence is amazing but pretending like I LOVED how I looked every single day was so toxic for me. Letting myself have bad days and understanding that I don’t need to be positive 24/7 helped a ton! Nobody is positive all the time. We’re human.
This is how I try to be!! Just accepting that I am human and have bad days sometimes.
i watch colleen every time i’m sad or stressed because she’s like my comfort person stg no matter what the video is or what she’s talking about it just calms me down
Tortilla Talk Question: Did you guys make hand ornaments for Maisy since she is home now
Tortilla Talk Question: Does any of your UA-cam buds have a dyson air wrap that you could try out with them as a main channel collab? This way you can try it out without the financial commitment. Then if you do like it then you can purchase after the dyson is back in stock. Maybe do half of your head with your current hair method and the second half dyson air wrapped.
Regardless! Happy New Year, and I hope and pray 2022 has more blessings rather than heartache. Love you Colleen and the fam 🤗💕🎉
The relationship you have with your family is everything xx
ikr, especially since theyre family is so huge!
Agree. I really think the Ballengers are genuinely good people.
Colleen and Rachel together? Chefs kiss!
@Sabrina Murphy seriously
Purple is DEFINITELY your color, the sweater is so soft and the color on you is gorgeous!
Tortilla talk question: What did you get for Eric for Christmas 🎄? What’s that item, that he can pass down to Wesley? I’m a bit curious 🧐🥰😅
Colleen, what you’re calling “deconstructed sushi bites” is basically temakizushi (hand-rolled sushi), which is totally a thing in Japan. (Ok, the toppings are probably gonna be different in Japan, but yeah, it’s a common thing to eat at home)
I’m so glad that Maisy and Wesley and you are healthy and safe.Happy New Year!!!
It’s Jacob holding Teddy during the taste test for me 🥰 so cute! What a sweet big brother.
I love seeing Flynn with his siblings. He is so kind
Hi Colleen
This! Multiple things can be true at once!
I love how real you are about body positivity. Obviously everyone should love themselves. But the after pregnancy transition is definitely difficult.
i'm so freaking happy that we went from tortilla talks hearing about maisy's progress or lack thereof, to doing a whole tortilla talk with maisy sleeping on you 💜💜
Coleen I love the positivity you and your family radiates! Your such a kind and appropriate UA-camr. We all hope for nothing but the best for you and your family! Your supporting other moms does not go unnoticed and we love you!
0:03 Maisy smiling during the intro when Flynn giggles and says “I’m Colleeeeeen” 🥺❤️
Jacob just casually holding Teddy while drinking Boba at 1:33 made me laugh for some reason 😂 Happy New Year!
I know! He was such a pro
gosh I freaking love this woman. truly just real & raw & something the world needs a ton more of.
I love watching Flynn interact with his siblings. Warms my little heart 🥺
you can dislike the way your body looks and still appreciate everything it can do! you can preach body positivity and still struggle! you (and everyone else) will always look amazing
i have watched every vlog this year and i never comment, but since it’s the end of 2021 i just wanted to say that you truly have gotten me through this year.
no matter what my previous day had been like, every morning i turn on your vlog while i do my makeup and honestly it’s the best way to start my day. i love listening to your tortilla talks, watching flynn grow up, and watching you go through your journey of life.
i’m sure you hear this all the time, i just wanted to personally say, thank you so much colleen. ❤️
Colleen and her family are seriously my comfort family, I love them all!
dude.... I freaking love Jessica and her kids. I just know they are gonna grow up to be such cool humans ;)
you’re such an amazing mom i love watching your vlogs and getting to see how your adjusting to having 3 kids!💗💗💗
Loads of love. xxxxx
Sending love Hannah ❤️
The fact that you are talking about your body and your insecurities (totally human to have) while your baby girl is in bliss cuddling your body. Love your honesty!
id recommend shaking your boba teas before piercing the top so that all of the sugary & tea goodness mixes! also, some of my favorite boba shops around LA includes tiger sugar, sunright tea studio, and boba guys - the tea and boba quality is much better than its boba time :)
I love you Colleen!
Tortilla Talk Question:
Do the cousins want to be involved with the twins as much as Flynn does? And when hey they are around does Flynn still want to play/cuddle with them as much? You’re doing great Mama ❤️
Colleen. Thank you for your honesty about your body image post babies. It’s a very real thing women deal with and as someone who is afraid to have a baby/get pregnant, your real take and real opinions on pregnancy and how it went for you, was insanely helpful in showing me that as a biological woman, to realize our bodies are magical. Thank you for reminding me of that! 💙
“She’s laughing look..” **gently bounces Maisy** 😂😂😂 I love y’all family so much! Thank you again for letting me have a sneak peek into y’all everyday life. Love y’all 💕✨
I CAN'T get over how AMAZING Flynn is with Wesley and Maisy!!
You are beautiful but you already know that 🥰
What i can say is that I'm happy you kept the clip in xx
Happy New Year’s Colleen! So excited to see what this new year has in store for you and your beautiful family! 🎉❤️
Even if it is 1:30 in the morning I will still stay up and watch these vllogs because they are always so entertaining
Love your profile pic ❤️💛🇮🇪💙💚
Tortilla talk? Question: HAVE YOU TRIED THE NEW WENDYS FRIES??? They are so good and beat out McDonald’s at this point for sure.
colleen, i'm going through definitely the hardest time in my life right now and your vlogs honestly help me feel so much better even for just a little while. love you so much
I hope everything will soon come back to normal for you 💕
Colleen that super soft purple sweater would be really cute over a romper/jumper or a dress!
I think everyone can agree that her vlogs make everyone’s day
Wouldn't you love an episode where Colleen teaches her brother's kids how to make the boba balls?
obviously nobody can cure insecurity, everybody is insecure about something, even if they say they are not. for me, its my stretchmarks.
@@theswilliams01
Pretty sure it was a watch
i could watch flynn interact with wesley and maisy for hours. its so precious and he impresses us time after time with his caring and intelligence!
I love her necklaces! ❤️ The story of the pearl being a future heirloom is so cute!! Also, I’m a Scorpio too and the Scorpio necklace is so my athletic!!
you guys should try the hot chocolates that were in a advent calendar next lol
Yes! Main channel idea!
I think the top would maybe look better styled open if those buttons work! I’ve had tops with that weird length and that helps sometimes
I really appreciate you talking about body image after baby, I also gained about 50 lbs and still have 20 or more to lose while nursing so it’s tough.
I truly think that God is with your family and he loves you ❤️
Edit: can you make a recreation of the “My Family” music video now that you have some new editions to the family?
Tortilla Talk question: is Flynn gonna write a song like Bailey did with happiness is very happy?
Hearing Flynn learn and trying the twins pronouns is so beautiful… it really shows you how much kids learn. Like “she opened she’s eyes”, he’s trying to use the right pronouns for the bubbas and learning grammatically correct terms as well. I don’t know why I find it so pure and cute, I guess it’s just my little teacher heart.
Colleen, you HAVE TO remake the "my family" video you made almost a decade ago, there are so many new family members! The twins and Flynn would be so cute in it :)
please, this would be so cute.
Colleen u look absolutely amazing for just recently having those beautiful twin babies. U are an amazing momma.
Thank you for making these videos! I loved watching TLC growing up and this feels like a less problematic version of that. Happy family videos
