- Linkin Park was inducted into the Hollywood Rockwalk yesterday at Guitar Center in Los Angeles, and the group was ushered in by Nic Harcourt and area DJ Stryker as they then addressed the crowd, immortalized their hands, and then took questions from the audience, and talked about their new album, The Hunting Party, check it out!
No band deserves this more than Linkin Park!!

They deserved it. i'm so so soooooo proud of them linkin park truly is the best band ever and like chester said u really cant put them in one box cz they make different types of music and all of them are absolutely AMAZING. and for all ppl who don't like linkin park don't listen to it. go put ur hatefull comments somewhere else. no one asked for ur opinion and no one forced u to listen to them so shut up . and for the hybrid theory fans that say that linkin park changed and lost creativity, firstly ur not a true fan of them and secondly, they do what they think is right and not what ppl want, cz if they do this the way ppl wanted it from the start we never would have had hybrid theory in the first place. and the hunting party is an suppppppper awesome record that had a mixture of all their previous experiences and it had hard rock and electronica elements and its perfect.

its heart breaking to watch this now that chester is gone but im glad they got immortalized on the rock walk while he was still here. they all deserve it. more than deserve it. hearing the guy list their achievements and thats only the HIGHLIGHT REEL gives me goosebumps. imagine having the best selling debut album of an entire CENTURY when it came out the first year of the new millennium and 19 years have come and gone ??? millions of new artists have come out since then and not a single one of them have debuted with probably not even half the sales hybrid theory has. and it sold big back then originally, so nobody can chalk it up to the digital age. they had the best selling album on the PLANET that year. im so proud of them

No, he didn't have issues with China. But he literally just said they weren't announcing yet on where they were going on tour. Right after he said that, she asked about China. That's why he wanted to move off topic because she wasn't listening to what he had just said.

I ignored this band for 20 yrs. What is wrong with me.
It suprises me they get in with this album.. I think its one of the poorest linkin park albums out there with the least successful singles they have ever made. During minutes to midnight though linkin park was one of the most famous artists/band in existence... how come they didnt get in then? :o
Yah know.....when the album was fully released on june 17th,I was really pissed off, like I was in blind rage over this album, I kept thinking that they were a shadow of their former selves, but then I kept listening, and lisening, and I practically fell in love with the album, it was very weird. I hated the electronic voices at the beggining of "keys to the kingdom" but for some reason it doesn't bother me anymore, i still dont exactly love it..... but its fresh, and different. I realized that I hated it in the first place because I expected it to sound like old linkin park, and I think I let go of that and finally opend my ears and I loved this "New" linkin park thats been created. Just open your ears and dont think of hybrid theory or meteora and let go of what you think they "SHOULD" sound like and be more open to how they currently sound. And by the way, their practically using the same format they used in their older albums too.
You sir probably didn't heard about HT and Meteora album this are better then MTM but The Hunting Party is much better than Living Things and A Thousand Suns combined
Bryle James Bito-on nah I wouldnt say that. In terms of production I prefer a thousand suns and living things. And besides ATS and LT had some kick ass singles that I listened to for years, now THP? I lost interest after listening to the songs 3 times. I dunno guess it depends on your musical taste. Btw I mentioned MTM because thats when they were at the peak of their fame.
I was listening to hybrid theory when i was 4 or 5 years old cause my dad liked LP; he got so sick of me asking to put the linkin park CD in lol I remember him saying no after awhile.
@@colcol599 Totally agree with you. LP is so ballsy, and I think people just aren't used to a fresh, new sound. It's always hard with a band that you associate so much with a particular sound. I think if we do give their new sounds a chance, it really does grow on you. I hated LT electronic sounds, thought TS was weird, and HP sounded lazy... but once you listen for a while, you hear the hard work, the story, the heart. I'm grateful to LP for staying fresh and keeping my ears fresh!
I was a fan from the start and still am but I have to be honest about the new album its not good..if linkin park made an album out of pots and pans it wouldn't surprise me if some of the "fans" would be like Omg ! Im in love with the new album yaay ! .. Its crap
