@@GarethDavidStudio The videos are well done, Gareth. I also supported your cause by purchasing the files you created for this course as well. Hope all is well.
Even tho I'm a year behind y'all it's so nice to get this supportive comment! I hit a wall today after 4 hours but I'll be back at it tomorrow...it's a lot but I am determined to get good with this software! I have so many plans haha! Gareth ..you're the best!
Too many information to digest in 20 minutes, on top of that you kill me every time you say EASY. With that being said, you sir are the best instructor I ever had for AE since I was always afraid to fire up AE, but now i am looking forward to finish the course and start my journey with it. And for that I thank you.

In regard to some of the comments below, It's not majorly difficult... It just has a lot of new info in one go.... if you're trying to rush it, it can snowball your brain, so just take it easy and digest it in smaller/slower chunks. As for the tutorial, I can't thank GDS enough for the time spent on the quality of their tutorials, it helps so much. Also, the downloadable help files are worth every penny!
Hi Gareth, first of all thanks a lot! You really have the patience and skills to teach complicated matter. I have dyslexia, and I had little to no trouble following along. All this being said, could you shortly explain what we need the solid layer for in the last two examples? They don't seem to show through anyway, or I'm not getting sth right?
Hi, really appreciate your effort on preparing all these episode ~~As a beginner, I really learn a lot from the video !! However, i cant get download the project folder from the link given.. It there have any solution or method to get the project files? need it for self - practise..
I was confused by this too--in my version of AE it shows two tiny boxes instead of a dropdown menu for the luma key/inverted option. Click it and try it out!
200k started, 11k viewers remain. Everyone else with me on the 26th episode, you guys are the real heroes!
Hope it's going well!
