PTR is talking about the book The Worldly Philosophers by Robert Heilbrook . This is supposedly the highest selling economics book. Only Economics by Paul Samuelson , a text book sold more than that. An excellent survey and introduction to economic thought.
He also talked about Stoics too but didn't refer to a book. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius is good and is a starting point.
