The curls are everything beautiful locs.
Thank you!
Loving the locs they're flourishing beautifully
Thank you!
I may be really late to the party but I learned a trick for neat buns….. Use a hair net over the messy bun then keep adjusting it until you get the desired look then either tuck the net under the bun like I do most days or pin it up for more security. I hope this helps
Thank you, I’ve tried it and it helps!
Your locs are so beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Yes sometimes the length retention is the reason why i don’t cut off my locs too 😭 🤦🏿♀️ I feel you sis.
Yes!!
Kendra got me too!!! lol I love yours too!!!!❤ I can’t wait to get to this length!!!!
Lol! She’s definitely inspiring. Thank you!
@@JasmineRegina You're welcome!!!
Kendra got me too!!!
And I love my microlocs!
You can use a really thin hair net for your bun....I see lots of ladies with shorter pics than yours pull off a bun with no fly aways
Thank you, I’ve tried that but I always end up thinking my bun looks funny lol. Maybe I overthink it
Mielle also has a good moisturizing spray called "Rice Water & Aloe Vera Braid & Scalp Moisturizer "
Oohh thank you! I’m going to look into this! I appreciate it!
You go girl it is so beautiful I am 4 years too I think from 2020 to now which is 2024 am
Thank you! And congrats to you on 4 years!
Your locs look great. You spoke about getting knots in your locs, how to you remove them? I accidentally put a knot in my loc and I am trying to fix it.
Thank you! If I am real patient I play around and try to stick the interlock tool in the knot and move it so it loosens up and I can take it out, but most of the knots are still in my hair 😢
Kendra Kenshay was my inspiration too! I'm 3 1/2 years loc'd.
Yess!! How has your journey been?!
I like her too. New to locs 1 week Friday May 10;2024 I have thick 4c hair been natural 12 years so ❤ it. I have 64 that was counted for me. Can wait till my hair gets locked.
I ❤️ your hair looks so pretty.
Congrats on beginning your loc journey!
Thank you!
I'm like a year and some change microloc'd. I LEGIT told myself this morning that I'm combing my hair out. Why this video pop up 😭😂

Hello, new here! I wanted to shave the sides of my locs yesterday. I mean adamant that I was going to do it, parted the sides out and everything. I left the parts in to run errands. By the end of the day I was like hell nah 😅😂😊🫨🙃
😂😂😂 I’ve thought about it too but quickly dismissed the idea when I thought about how it would look when it grows out. I can’t lol
@@JasmineRegina lmao I was like really what was I thinking 😩🤣🤣🤣🤣

No don't cut you hair it looks Beautiful ❤
I'm starting my loc Journey in February this year 2024 😮
I have soft, thin, and fine hair 😮
The question is, will they loc & how long will it take 😢 🙏🙏
I came to your info on Pinterest
So here I am 😊
If you have any words of wisdom 👏 🙌 🙏 for me, please 🙏 inform me!!
Your hair looks Fantastic 😊
Aw thank you so much! I honestly don’t know much about soft fine hair, so I would suggest you ask a professional loctician and look for individuals online who have locs that are the same texture as yours to see how yours could look, the best method for your hair type (palm rolling, interlocking, etc) their experience, pros and cons, etc. if you haven’t already. I would think it may take longer to loc but I honestly have no idea. My advice is to do some research (know what you’re getting into, costs if you’re going to a professional plus maintenance, be aware of shrinkage, etc.) be patient, take pics, and trust the process. How it starts off is not an indicator of how it will progress later. I hope you have fun with it enjoy your journey!
Thank you for the information 🙏 I have been doing some research & will look up palm rolling. I wasn't aware of the that type 😳 🤔
You’re welcome!
I’m two years microlocked and really getting bored. I’m older & used to having long hair so the length is not a factor. I do love my hair most days but I don’t really do styles because my scalp is tender and I can’t do buns or any styles where the hair is put up or pinned/braided because my scalp is too tender. So my hair is down most of the time & im bored of looking the same always. I really love short hair and thinking of making a change.
I definitely understand that!
Did you install your own? How did you do it ?😊
Yes, I started them with two strand twist.
How many locs do you have? ❤
The last time I counted, I had 304. That was about a year ago.
