Wario Land isn't returning anytime soon as Nintendo ruined the series with Wario: Master of Disguise which was made by a shovelware company.
That's completely fair, as Nintendo does seem to abandon series after one game doesn't do well, think Star Fox Zero or Chibi Robo Zip Lash
