Omitted detail / Troubleshooting tip: If you can't see the (green) laser spot as in 12:54, it may be because the laser shutter is closed. You can open/close the shutter using the button directly under the words "Aramis" (above the Setup button) on the right-most column of the bottom toolbar.
TROUBLESHOOTING TIP: If the camera doesn't seem to be responding (or if it the camera image window doesn't pop up when you click the camera button), try restarting the software or the computer. For more info, see 7:47.
Toubleshooting tip: If you don't see the laser peak at 0 cm^-1, then double check your units on the x-axis of your spectrum. If it says "wavelength (nm)", then go to Menu > Options > Unit and select "1/cm"
