Great video, thanks for this, it makes me confirm ehat my next purchase will be.
Soundwise they both sound similar, but the issue with the legato bumps in V2 makes it stand out. It's incredible what Spitfire achieved with a 49€ lib in Soaring High Strings. The only place where I can see that V1 & V2 AROSS (playing together) can outshine Soaring is in the medium speed legato phrases at softer dynamics.
Those Soaring Strings do sound absolutely gorgeous here, I have to say
Yes - it's a great little library!
The runs sound much better with high soaring strings.
Sounds as if Soaring Strings have more "heart and desire", while they keep the ARO SymStrings more neutral, which is ok. But even the runs are better with Soaring Strings!
i dont know what it is but both sound a bit synthetic... dont know why!
And the backround there is a frequency one octave down from the note being played which i dont hear in normal recordings from there...
Soaring High strings for 49$ wins ;)
