- www.vladtv.com - Onyx sat down for an exclusive interview with VladTV, where they opened up about their past working relationship with 50 Cent. Fredro Starr explains that they were helping Fif during the start of his career by letting him in the studio and putting him on their "React" record.
When asked about their beef, Fredro is quick to say that there's nothing to talk about. He adds that everything between them is in the past and says that both sides are now focused on just making money.
Fredro ended the conversation by saying he's "about the future," which includes the group's new album "Wakedafucup," and a rap opera with Russell Simmons called "Cain and Abel."

Man Fredro is one of the most underrated rappers of all time. People always say that Sticky never receives the credit he deserves, but I've been to a lot of Onyx's videos and I see tons of comments giving Sticky a whole lot of phrase. Hardly anyone talks about Fredro. He may not have had Sticky's charisma, but his lyrics were nice and he had the best flow out of the trio members of the group. That Firestarr album was underrated and deserves more accolade than it received. Sure it had some weak songs, but we can say the same thing about a lot of albums. Point is Fredro is a great rapper and should get more credit than he's been receiving.

He humble and nice though. I met him at the UA Court Street 12 movie theater in downtown Brooklyn. He came with I assume is his woman and kid. My friend and I spoke to him. He responded with a smile and soft voice. If the person I met is who he is normally, he is definitely angry in this video.
