Observation on MRF tyres is correct.Cracks did appear in low mileage vehicle kept parked for extended times.
But, in my experience MRF is a long lasting, tough tire for Indian conditions and it retains its tread even after heavy usage.
Michlin Tyres are best. More rubber cushioning is very good so road grip is also good. I bought 7 yrs bk and they are still good only little wear n tear due to a rough patch just outside my house. I have to rotate the steering to remove my car out. Otherwise these tyres r the best though bit pricey 3800/= (present rate)each for my wagon R. I did many road trips with this car Dehli to Mumbai n Back. Entire Rajasthan, UTTERAKHAND, many times and only single puncture in all these 7 years, I will again go for Michlin Only next time as well. Happy Motoring Guys. 😀

Buy from a reliable exclusive Michelin Dealer to get the genuine Product. All the Best ,😊 P.S it's rubber is soft due to that provides good road grip on highway Trips.
Michilin use soft rubber because of that if you will run your car tyres with low air pressure it will puncture easily. I will suggest use quntinental or bridstone.

Good year which comes with my swift 2014 is very good. Puncture resistant and most underrated tyres. People often go for Michelin which is soft and good for highway riding and Bridgestone is pricey and if you are not a frequent user of car , better go for Good Year , Apollo 4G.
Michelin : Soft tyres , Preferred for highway riding and good smooth roads and obviously heavy on pockets ( ₹₹₹₹)
Bridgestone : Good allround tyres , slightly over priced and if you are frequent user who drives both in good and bad roads then go for Bridgestone B 290 and B250 series.
Good Year : US Brand , Puncture resistant, very good on both roads , optimally priced and value for money. (Personal Choice ❤️❤️)
Apollo : Good for both roads, Value for money and prefer Amazer 4G model.
Ceat, JK : Best for T board taxis and value for money , mostly changed within 2-3 years
MRF : Rough road specialist, optimal price, Rough and hard rubber .better for village and off roads

i am in the tyre industry since 1991, having worked for a couple of companies, and presently dealer since 17 years, dealing with Bridgestone, Firestone, Michelin and Continental, all Passenger radials, at 3 outlets. Here the point reg warranty as mentioned in the interview for Firestone is not correct. It covers Unconditional warranty for 3 years from the date of purchase or upto 6 years from manufacturing date, which ever comes earlier. Even the dealer mentioned unconditional warranty for all the brands he mentioned, which is not true. As for my experience goes MRF doesnt give any unconditional warranty on any of its passenger radial tyres. Please verify with the respective manufacturers for the warranties. Probably this dealer is giving warranty on his behalf, not by the manufacturer.My knowledge/experience says Firestone will be the best value for money against other brands mentioned. Sorry If I hurt any body.

I use Yokohama tyres & they're excellent. Good grip, great breaking, minimal wear n tear. Running for 10 years and still in great shape. Also excellent shelf life. No punctures till date. (By God's grace). I got unconditional 6 years warranty, when I bought them, but no trouble till date. Maintains grip during entire monsoon season & even on tram tracks, which are flat iron tracks in Kolkata.

Apolo maine use kia hai, 6 months thik se nehi chala, 2-3 month mein leak ho jata tha. Mrf lia, tyre pura ghis gya fir vi no leak. Good year and Firestone maine istemaal kia nehi. So i don't know. But CEAT utna bura nehi hai jitna video mein dikha rahe hai. Mera scooty ke saath Ceat tyre aya tha, bina koi parishani 3 yrs chala tha.

I want to add few more points related to MRF only. First of all , all passengers vehicle MRF tyre comes with 6 years of manufacturing warranty ( not 5 years ), as you talked about our comfort range tyre ZLX. I also want to suggest our premium mileage tyre which is ZTX. It will give you mileage around 60000 km.

I got JK Vectra 185 60 R15 as stocks tyres on my Vento. The tires performed very well covering 39800 km without a single punture. Although the tyre has some tread left on them but they have become bit hard.
JK tyres does not have good rep like others but i have fuss free experience owning them.

For those who think CEAT is not good enough, a surprise for you guys. CEAT is already selling tyres into some of the niche markets of Europe, where even one failure means business closure. For example, Italy and Spain. They will very soon be seen in Germany as well. Good part for them is the branding is their own and demand is huge. Ceat isn't able to meet current demands there due to capacity constraints as of now. Hence, coming up with new plants very soon.
Soft tyres are best for safty as stopping distance is less. Disadvantage of soft tyres are:
1. Early wearing.
2. Early wheel balancing needs.
3. Lesser life than hard tyres.
4. Less handling than hard tyres.
5. Punctures frequently.
6. Care should be taken while driving on rough road.
Advantages:
1. Best confort i.e. more shock absorber.
2. Car stops earlies due to more friction between tyre and road.
3. Serve more life if car uses less. Lesser side cracks.
I have preffered soft tyres than hard one. Soft tyres are generally costs higher than harder ones.
Soft tyres are:
1. Michellin (Best)
2. MRF(Economic, Indian brand, rubber is better than michellin but needs improvement in tread pattern). I am using zv2k - 13"
3. Appolo

JK as mentioned as 1750-1950 Rs. In 2018 and now the same JK tyre is Rs.2800/-. In one year so much the price has risen, very odd. I had gone to this shop and they charged me 2800X2= 5600 rs. The service was nice but too expensive.
My tata tiago come fitted with Good year, all four tyre worn out with every tyre has side puncture at least 5 numbers, kilometers done is only 22k.

Yeah, but im living in Himachal, i ran 24000km mostly on hills. I have found now my mrf wanderer tyres do have girping issue only in up climb hill roads.if you are living in hills with bad terrain road i will not suggest mrf.

Bhai aisa kuch nahi hai good year is the best, jab time aata hai warranty ka to kuch na kuch reason bata ke customer ki galti batate hai........... mera tyre good year ka tha in maruti and in 2nd year from the date of purchase, tyre mein ek chota sa sweeling type ubar gaya tyre around 2 inch ka and jab time aaya warranty ka to company ka superwiser aake bolta hai ki aapki gadi pathar pe se gayi hai islye sweeling type ho gayi hai and it was not covered under warranty........... and after that i was thinking that are bahi gadi himachal mein pathar par aur gado mein hi chalti hai chutiye hawa mein nahi. it was a huge excuse given to me for not covering my tyre under warranty. I am sharing this because when u purchase any tyre pls ask everything about warranty conditions from the dealers i.e cut due to off roads etc etc.... thanks

Michelin is still the best in braking & Comfort, safety compared to other brands.

i used mrf zlx which runs near about 125000 km which is more than michelin. new mrf series in car segment is better than any car tyre i.e. michelin bridgestone also. i recommend mrf in every segment of tyre range

3. Appolo rubber tears earlier. Embended wires seams after using 30k km. Not recommended.
Hard tyres are as:
1. Goodyear: I have used. Worst tyre, accidents two times one with Roj and with buffello due to skidding. In wet roads they forget to stops, skidding- skidding than crash. After 7 years they becomes very hard that vibrate vehicle when driving. I have changed it after using 70k km. Tyres punctures only 6-7 times. Treads erroded only 20% after serving 7years and 70k.
Tread pattern is good, tyre got direction while skidding which is not in mrf zv2k. Goodyear is not good who drives above 70km/hr.
2. Bridgestone: Decreased their quality from last few years to decrease cost. Harder but rubber is good. Bridgestone increases service life of tyre and high fuel millage by reducing contact area. Lesser contacted with road reduces breakability. B.S. available in all tread pattern. Choose as ur needs. B.S. also available in soft tyres but costs higher. Very less Sellers have these tyres as drawbacks of soft tyre.
3. Yokohoma: Very good for indian roads. Good tread pattern. Good on wet road also. Synthetic rubber used. Preffer over bridgestone. More contact area, Looks massive but thickness of rubber is less than B.S and Michellin.
4. JK is better than ceat.

Sorry to say u bro lakin manne lagta hai ceat k tyres bohot hi acha hai especially d milaze x3 tyres for cars . I may b wrong but i feel ki than mrf zvtv aur apollo alnac 4g ceat milaze x3 aur fuelsmaart is pretty good options. Tyres like Goodyear Michelin bridgestone firestone although they r d best tyre, indian tyre brands r also an good options like ceat jk apollo mrf etc. I may b wrong but i feel ki ceat bdiya ek brand hai interms of quality reliability aur performance

Surprised you didn't talk about continental which is stacked up behind you in the video, neither did you talk about brands like Michelin, Yokohama, Bridgestone and Falken. I recently changed tyres for my Ford Figo and had 3 choices, namely continental comfort contact, Yokohama earth 1 and Falken sn 835. I went for Falken since sidewall is softer hence certainly ride quality is much better than my earlier Apollo alnac which lasted 30000 I'm and were quite hard. I must say that Yokohama and Falken are best for me for balanced performance. Michelin may offer superior ride but less durable hence I won't suggest it for Indian roads

The disadvantage he told for MRF is u can get cracks when you will not use your vehicle for 1.5-2 years...Lol who drives a car after such a big gap and will your Goodyear can withstand the cracks if u don't use for 2 years.
Goodyear experience has been very bad in OE. My two good cars suffered pulling and bouncing due to bad tyres.
I am using good year, the tyres have swollen after using for 3 year 43000 km. Never had problem with apollo and mrf.

Bridgestone tyres are not as good as they are made out to be. I had to change all 4 tyres only after 37000 kms. Of course, most of the time, I drive in hill roads. So this time I am using Ceat tyres, to really know whether the reputations and reality match. My vehicle is Scorpio and I mostly drive alone with minimal luggage.

Good year is the 2nd worst in my experience. Mrf the worst as the Crack developed in just 15k kilometers. Any other brands like Bridgestone, apollo and even ceat are fine
