- @Zuby USTAD In my last video I changed my cars brand new tyres from Yokohama Earth 1 to Goodyear Assurance. In this video i am going to show you the real life usage review of Goodyear Assurance tyres & was my decision correct. So watch the complete video to know about my views of these tyres and should anyone buy these tyres or not.

Today’s ordered online all four tyres from TyresNmore size 195/60/16 cost 32000 . Puzzles for me before seeing your video now removes all my doubts and feel reliable from mood as well product.
Your inputs are very informative. Every person has different experiences with tires on roads. Stock tires in my Ecosport are from Goodyear brand. I haven't experienced any issues whatsoever. But now they are suffering from dry rot and the top surface has become hard. Rubber peels off. My car has done 37k kilometres and is around 4 years old. In all these years only one tyre out of the 4 has troubled me with minor punctures. Stepney tyre in new till date. Overall Goodyear has not disappointed me. People might say that kms driven is quite less for a tyre change but in my view each drive has been with TC on and this may have taken a toll on the rubber compound alongside temperature, road surface, weather and so on. After all these fun days in my Ecosport I will shortly go for tyre change. Yokohama and Bridgestone are expensive and after the experience with Goodyear I will continue with this particular brand.
I have similar story for my Nexon. Stock was Goodyear, few friends are suggesting Apollo Alnac G4

No problem with changing again with stock but I feel u shud try a different brand for new experience. Yokohama or Apollo would be a good suggestion in my view.

The real reason behind tyre noise is when car is running and tyre is rolling on the road, then air pressure is circulated around the outer circumference of tyre, that means the more dotted or less bordered your tyre's outer wall are around the rim, the less noisy they will be inside the cabin.
Moral of the story, your decision to choose that specific tyre model that was supposed to protect your car's rim (which was having more edges around the rim), cost u more noise on the road, because more edges on tyres around the rim creates more air pressure around the rim, resulting in more humming noise inside the car.
the decision of choosing yokohama was not wrong , but tyre with more edges around the rim , was definitely wrong.
if you want low cabin noise, choose tyres with dotted pattern around the tyre wall, close to rim, regardless of any tyre company (and also check for companies which are making tyres with silca based compound , not carbon based )
Tyre is noisy because it's sidewall is too hard

I second that, as per your review about Goodyear tyres i have the same experience with Goodyear budget friendly tyres in my 4G Honda City
My Personal experience : installed Yokohama Earth 1 in Swift 2 years back… no issues at all. Today installed Yokohama BlueEarth GT in my old Honda City 2012. Awesome tire. Steering, comfort and noiseless, feel awesome. I guess you should’ve changed to a better profile. My recommendation is 205 or 195/ 60 or 65. Yokohama is super awesome. It was a bad day for you. I just like Yokohama since m using it from so long. Also Earth 1 never gave me a single puncture even in rash driving rough roads.
Blue earth is nice but earth1 for my side it's big NO, is there shock absorber changed?????

Good year bahot sasta dikha raha he, me kal shop pe gaya to bridgestone 4400, ceat 3900,jk tyre 3800, goodyear 3000 swift dezire 165,80 r14 samaz nahi आया aisa kyun. Abhi samaz nahi aa raha he konsa dalu.
Yokohama Earth1 is not recommended for sedan neither they are comfort oriented tyres, it is recommended for compact suv/hatchback as per their website. For comfort/ silent drive yokohama recommends their Bluearth Gt Ae51 and is also recommended for sedan as mentioned on their website. Always prefer Touring/Gt tyres with any brand as they have soft compound if your priority is comfort and less noise also make sure tyre is made up of silica compound. As per my personal experience Continental CC5 has the best balance between Comfort and Performance.

I feel GY triplemax 2 is better than its predecessor. I bought 4 tyres last week and they are very comfortable and stable on road wirh very less or no noise under 80kmph.

my stock gy assurance triple max tires have 30 % tread life left and has only run about 26k but two front ones are damaged so I wanted to change to ceat secura drive but the shop preferred me to stick with the stock ones so i have bought two today his point was that if I changed just 2 tires then the pair would look different and he stated that the company opted for the gy assurance for a reason

Ceat is good for Suzuki hatchbacks. Apollo are good for mid segment hatchbacks like i20, Punch, Altroz, Jazz, Tiago, Tigor, etc

Got ceat securedrive oem tyres with new i20. Worst tyres ever... every week puncture and once got buldge on side wall
Any average tyre runs smoothly for max. 25 to 35 %of its genuine life.(approx. 10000 kms)
Secondly smoother tyres give you comfortable rides
Thirdly slightly harder compound tyres with 70 or more aspect ratio will provide mileage but can be bit more noisy .
Talking of brands...
If you drive in cities and highways only, go with Michelin/ Bridgestone
If it is mixed one better to opt Bridgestone/ Apollo/ Yoko
And if you drive mostly in hilly and rough areas go for MRF ceat Jk

Old hone par rubber hard ho jaati ha so almost all tyres makes noise when getting old due to hard rubber.
