We have considered Canada, and here this beautiful property pops up on my feed. So sad to hear it’s getting demo’d for development. @@ronijones6737 that’s it we get no history?? Does this place have a name or address so we can look into it’s past. Inquiring minds want to know what happened. Why this was closed down ? Murder ? I can imagine being the woman of the house and furnishing and decorating it. Watching over the pool and horses-like watching out the kitchen window kinda thing. @@AbandonedUrbexCanada It's so ironic to mention squatters, or as you kindly put unstable people, when if that where true in reality it wouldn't be abandoned if any people where there. What happened to them, where are they, hmmm. Thank you for the video, stay safe always.

I was very much into show horses, boarding and lessons for years. Trophies and ribbons meant endless hours of work. That was a very lucrative barn with many employees you walked us through. An indoor facility is big big money. Surprisingly no barn cats still there. Lol I visited an old barn and racetrack years ago. I literally could feel the darkness still living within the abandoned horse stalls. Gave me shivers.
@@believeinyourself7511 In FL. It was where the race horses worked when the track ( Tampa Downs) was not running live races after the Derby. We boarded at a barn, but across a few acres sat another barn where race horses came in for probably 20 years. No horses came anymore. Long done, but walking through it gave my entire family the creeps. We would just stand at the stall looking in day dreaming, but so glad to be done with horses.
Was totally into that for years wen a teen, 15 yrs later moved out to the country & started all over doing it with My dtr & ran into my old horse trainer!

Wow! This place has such character. No real water damage in the house would need a ton of work but still salvageable. I was blown away by the grounds and that barn! As a horse owner, I'd love to have a facility like that! I'd love to hear more info on this property. What happened that such a beautiful spot would be abandoned? And why was all the stuff left behind? I thoroughly enjoyed. Any more info would be cool on this one. THNX for the share.( I agree it gave me weird vibes as well!)
Another amazing explore. The chair sitting by itself in the one room reminded me of where a hostage situation would take place. Always a happy day when you post. Thank you!
I'm from Texas, and the whole scenario reminded me of places that have either been bought by the city, donated after a death, foreclosed upon, or seized (due to illegal activity), to use for police or SWAT training facilties!!! That would explain all of the blank ammunition shells, the chair that looked like it was used in a hostage type situation, and the hole that was blown in the side of the building!!! Sometimes fire departments will also use the places for training purposes too, to practice putting out fires in properties that either need to be demolished or have been bought out for the land!!! (I would imagine that other states/locales also do the same???). Anyway, that was just my 1st thought as I watched the video....who knows though, I could be totally wrong???!!!
@@jeangibson9420 the working water and electric, the non-lethal shells, police tape, hanging dummy, busted in door and wall, nice clean kitchen counter, chair facing the door all speaks of police training. I doubt that house is as abandoned as he thinks it is.
I love your channel. When I watch you walking through a property I imagine myself renovating the space and making it my home. I could definitely see myself in this house. It’s magnificent and has so much potential.
Would have loved to see this place back in its heyday. Interesting to see new Amazon boxes in the den. Surprised you didn’t mention them. What an incredible equestrian centre. Still looks in pretty good shape; too bad it can’t be fixed up and used.
My house is stuck in the sixties too. Finally had to replace the kitchen stove a few years ago but it was a great stove for years. Still pink tile in the bathrooms but it's paid for. Lol 😆
KC. I'm with you. If it is still working why replace it. It coats money. Who care what colour things are. Good it is paid off. I like older appliances too. I bought a fridge brand new and it lasted less than 5 years. Now I got a second hand one for 50 $ and it has lasted at least 4 years now. It was 14 years old when I got it. No regrets.
What a property!!! Fantastic explore Brent!! This place is massive.. That old hot tub. and taps.. Duncan Phyfe drop leave table as a tv stand... loll.. Thanks for taking us along!!
That sure looked like it was a great place back in the day. While you were exploring the house I was wondering where the explosion was until you finally came a cross the place here they happened. That barn was just humongous and held a lot of horses. Thank you Brent for showing us another abandoned place because I always liked finding and seeing them even when I was a young boy. I sure like your videos Brent and keep them coming.
I would be so lost in that house and that horse arena building. VERY Impressive place. The $$ that went into that whole compound must have been in the 7 digits for sure. So glad you found this place and decided to explore it. Your drone work was just soooo GOOD! Thank you for posting this one is a Blue Ribbon Winner! 🐴🐴🐴
Those stalls that were obviously added later inside the indoor arena must have been quite depressing though for the horses stabled there, it was so dark and absolutely no views or fresh air at all.
That's the problem Brent with a gorgeous salvageable property like this. As a horse owner who's always dreamed of owning a barn and arena like that it makes me cry to know that a developer bought it and it's all going to be destroyed. Part for the course... instead of recycling we've become a throw away society and it'll all go in the landfill. I would kill for the stalls as they seem in excellent shape.
Fantastic find! Such a sad thing to see places like this just be left to rot. Shame to see it like this as I can imagine what it looked like in its prime. The size, the space, the character. Just amazing.
Just a theory here, as i don't know anything factual about this place, but the 2013 ribbons, and the Lone Survivor DVD (2013) indicate to me it has been less than a decade since occupied. Here's my guess, it looks as though it was a private mansion at one point, then later used as a B&B / horse riding resort (Laundry sign and resort looking basement for guests, 'keep door closed' signs, 'summer camp' sign). Again, just guessing, but what may have happened is the B&B sold and the new owners began renovations and were planning to make it one residence again, maybe flip it. It is possible that they fell behind on property taxes and was taken back by the city / region since it usually takes quite a few years of unpaid property taxes before they act, and may eventually be up for auction, which could explain why it was repurposed for police training in the mean time. Or maybe a developer knocked on the door and offered the right price and rents it to the police until it gets developed or sold. Just my theory, I'd love to know the truth to see if I am even remotely close.
As an equestrian, I wouldn't call it a resort. Everything in and around the barn indicates a typical lesson barn/show stable. They appeared to be in the saddle seat world, based on the trophies. Likely Arabians or gaited breeds, like ASB and NSH. I am struggling to read the names on the trophy.. It looked like Hillary -Something- won a Pleasure class in 2011. Those results are recent enough that they could be found online and we might be able to piece together the rest of the story.
@@syzygyfarm The property could have been purposed in many ways separate of one another, but the house itself looks like it was a rental to guests. You don't normally put up signs on your own doors that say "Laundry Room", or "keep door closed", as an occupant, it is likely you don't need to remind yourself of these things. The "Summer Camp" sign may very well have been part of another operation at the same location, likely the horses and backing property. I still feel that there were perhaps horse rides available to guests (I mean, why wouldn't there be? It's a selling feature). Looks like a B&B or Air B n' B to me. I'd really like to know more facts, the speculation is definitely there, and I would love to find out which one of us is closer to the truth, it's a fun thing to guess and then find out for sure. Anyone got more info?
@@syzygyfarm Agree ! Noticed the trophies & ribbons as well & tho't saddlebred , etc. A show barn , boarding-training , facilities for trainer , grooms , clients lounge , etc. - definitely a " big money barn " , as we called them . ( I showed QH & Arab. & a friend showed ASB & Hackney - we saw some amazing barns over the decades . ) Really curious about this ; however , know stories of many people who quickly went bankrupt in the horse business and / or had " dubious " business dealings . ( P.S. - did notice a cavaletti in the arena in one pic )
Hi Brent, been watching your channel since the early days. This is your best yet. The house is gorgeous and free of vandalism then the equestrian centre just tops it. In Scotland there's nothing like this on that scale! Keep up the great work.
I agree! This one is awesome. How do I find some of the music you play. I LOVE ALOT OF IT. Especially there is a group on this video that sounds SO beautiful. Who are they?
You found another jewel Brent!!❤ Oh how I wish we could see pictures from "back in the day"!! Would be so amazing to see those lovely stalls filled with horses!!! That was SOME PLACE to be, for sure. Thanks very much!!! This has to be one of my favorites for sure!! Bless You Brent!
This is such an amazing passion you pursue ..I'm in awe and it breaks my heart a little when you see some of these homes where entire families had lives and built memories just abandoned in the blink of an eye. Life is so precious!:) Thank You for taking us on these wonderful adventures! God Bless and keep you!🥰🙏
Ugh when I see places like this. My mind goes crazy with possibilities. Turn the barn into an indoor skate/bike park, the house into a hospice house. Great find! I love how it hasn't been tagged.
Hi Brent WOW From the outside the house doesn’t look that big, but it is HUGE. I like that house, it has everything, an indoor pool, a horse farm and much more. Either someone was murdered or this place was a practice sight for the police and firemen. Those bullets were scary to see at a residential home. That apartment up in the arena must have been for the caretaker of the horses. It’s a shame they didn’t take all those trophies with them. Also it looks like they replaced half of the roof. The one half looks prefect and the other one looks like it’s ready to cave in. This house was a good find on your part. wonder aren’t you a little afraid to go to these places alone?? You never know it there are squatters living there.
@@southernparadise9896 my thoughts precisely. For some reason it's abandoned. Government ie; law enforcement agencies, armed forces(?), federal agencies.. Or SWAT? Simulations ?? What're your thoughts?
That was an impressive property. The house was pretty cool and I loved the tiled bathrooms. Now that barn and indoor arena are to die for. It had everything you might need. Complete apartment for the stable manager upstairs. I was sure there would be an observation deck overlooking the arena. That one window along the side wasn’t big enough for very many people and set towards one end. The shavings and hay in a few of those stalls still looked pretty fresh. Nice find and a real shame they want to make it industrial.
Where did you find this out that it will be industrial? I agree it is fresh and the barn was used not too long ago. Nice place, but no pastures or fencing up....perhaps I did not see this. Do you know the name of the place or history of this farm?
@@doctilly3539 no I don’t know anything about it. Brent said something about becoming an industrial area. A view from the barn area showed what looks like hay fields to me although they might not be used for that anymore. They also could have been overgrown pastures.

It's such a shame these places can't be used for the homeless with a government backing. I love places like this and I am happy I found your site. In my youth I loved to explore old houses and underground systems. Great video.
Yes Christopher let's take our tax dollars and let's give the homeless a better place than what we live in. Knowing even a handful of them would appreciate it.
I know right??Lol,what a terrible idea, junkies and alcoholics stumbling around stealing etc in what is probably a very nice area that happens to have one house that is in need of repair
You ever see what homeless people do to their environments? There's a reason they're homeless. Rent out a unit in your place to a homeless person and get back to me.
That place must've been mighty grand back in it's day. A lot of bathrooms. And you're right, it's definitely bigger than it looks. Can't tell if it was used in training or if it was raided & shut down for illegal reasons. Maybe both? Can't imagine abandoning such a place. Nice find. 👍❤️
One your best explores yet! What an amazing house - it was huge! The pool was a nice surprise and you looked tiny walking in the pool- definitely in the throws of renovation when it was abandoned. I’m getting either a guest house vibe or a party mansion. Great video Brett
That’s a very nice barn with a good size arena and so many stalls! The horses were in comfort awhile back. No that long ago because of the trophies not tarnishing and the tv. I’d say maybe the 80’ and 90’s it was in full swing. Being a rider and involved with equestrian lifestyle this is a gem. Thank you for the enjoyable video.
A great find and explore (as usual) Brent! What an awesome place! One can't help but wonder what happened to the owners/occupants - but as you've identified, most of the stuff had been taken... It would have been quite the property in its day. Thanks for taking us along on this adventure Brent!!
Heater Skelter. He can't reveal this location especially if it is used for training. But I am sure people in the area where this is know about it. J.m.o.
As someone with horses that stable and arena would be awesome to have (Not even my own horses have that). The potential for the property would be huge i hope in the near future someone will buy it and turn it back into an equestrian Centre or even someone with a lot off horses (minus the crime scene maybe training).
It must have been a very successful operation in its day. 40 years is a long time to be in business and then stop. Of course, who knows what happened. It must have been a very sad time too because there is so much activity surrounding horses and horse people. The training of the horse/rider, etc. takes long hours every day. Then the planning of the shows, the organization of all the events, etc. It appears there were possibly accommodations for owners, etc. Friendships are formed, memories are made - having to say goodbye to all of that can be heart wrenching. l’ll bet there are probably some clip clops to be heard too on the pavement nearby and I can hear the loudspeaker announcing the winners in each class. Fun times horses are -- I hope it is happy memories for anyone who was a part of this properties past! Thank you for sharing.
What a nice indoor arena! That apartment above the barn was nicer than any I've seen. The quality of those stalls in the first barn was a more expensive boarding stable. No cheapy construction. Great cavaletti pole at 27:10 - the quality kind. The house is neat, just a different era of architecture, but still fun in its own way. Did the family donate the grounds to the police for trainings?? I've heard of that for fire department training so I guess it could happen for the police. That last bathroom in the house with the square sided drop down tub-out of a magazine in the 60s. Wow. Glad you documented it. Thx.
Thankyou for the tour I love to get the feeling I lived there while touring. This isn’t the usual abandoned place there was some crime I wonder what it was..the vibes were definitely strange…
That was a seriously spooky property. My heart broke a little when I saw the abandoned horse stalls and beautiful arena, thinking of all the happy times so many must have enjoyed their with their horses. Reminded me of a place I used to ride in Michigan. So you weren't able to find out any info on the place? I was thinking the house might have been a brothel! And then used as a work shop - super weird... Seems extra strange that the electric & water are still on. Never heard of such a thing!
Wow awesome! That was a massive house for sure. I don’t think it was abandoned that long. It was in pretty good shape. Someone probably was in process of renovating and ran out of money or something unforeseen happened. Thanks for a great video, as always!! 😊😊
Hey, Brent nice to see you! The hole in the wall 25:02 was probably from a breach charge when the police were doing their training, could have assigned someone to clean up the mess.
That sure was a mansion of a place because every where you went was large. In side the house most of the walls looked clean because noone spray painted them. Thank you for another great tour of an abandoned place up there in canada Brent.
I know this place people were living and riding there a year ago! I know because I was one of them! We were removed when land was sold to developers! There was no crime that ever happened there!
What else do you know about the history of this place? Who were the last owners? It looks like some kind of facility other than private residence. Who were original owners?
since this poster KNOWS this property. I wonder if the explosion/raid/crime happened AFTER it was vacated? Any signs of vagracy or possibly a meth lab setup where that damage is?
Please share w/ us . I hope you have good memories of your riding there . The farm I managed is no longer , due to the owner's advanced age ; altho' still reasonably maintained , it looks sad w/out the horses & activities .
I got to say this is one of your better explorers. The house is definitely older but I bet it was really beautiful in its day I love the horse barn that could still be used if someone just went in there and kind of cleaned it up and and stuff I hope it don't get tore down but I'm sure that's probably what'll happen. But good explore.
Loved looking around this mansion with you. It’s a bit like the tardis in doctor who isn’t it?. Absolutely glorious house to live in especially on a hot summers day when it was liveable. Thanks for sharing this find love from wales uk.
My thoughts exactly. I was calling it the TARDIS house in my head. I got lost trying to mentally map it as he walked around. Those stairs at the pool/bar just came out of nowhere.
That place had a very strange feeling to it and that chair placed facing the entrance was spooky almost like someone was sitting there. One of those ribbons on the wall in the stables said CNE so must have been awarded for the equestrian event there.
I love the swinging door. I had one of those in my old childhood home. It was for the bathroom. It is now abandoned as well. It just has our stuff in it. Before it was our home it was for the military base. To practice shooting and safety procedures. At least that is what my great grandma told us. Who really knows right lol.
This was the best. Videos here are always awesome, but this one is king! What a fine home, so interested in the history. Imagining who lived there in the 20's.🌞🌷✨
Wow I was watching this and thinking it was one you explored before and re-uploaded, it felt so familiar. When you went out on the upstairs balcony and down those spiral stairs outside I realized why... I was there and explored that house back in 2019. It is much more run down and damaged now but its definitely the same house. We didn't explore the out buildings because we were trying to get to at least 8 places in one day.
Shelley, do you know any backstory on it? It has water and electricity and someone paying to heat it or the pipes would have burst. Just curious as to why it’s going to be torn down
Amazing ... its just unthinkable that someone could abandon such a place without it being taken over . Makes one wonder, what might have happened there. I have a feeling something horrific took place for it to be left as it was. Would be interesting to know more behind the reasoning.
🏡No matter where, when, or why it is still so sad whether it's the background and/or family dynamics that turn these once lovely "homes" Into a dilapidated shell. Doesn't take long to go from a home to a house.
What a find that was and minimal vandalism The “lone chair” looked like it was used for an interrogation What's an abandoned house without a fridge with food..argh.. The whole horse centre is huge along with the house There has to be a good story with police tape, blank bullets and blown out door! Really good find..take care 🇨🇦❤️
Sue...there may not have been any fridge to look into but there was a built in dishwasher. (Could there be a new trend to look if there is no fridge to look into? .....😣)

yes I love these kind of places. A lot of some of the older barns were built like that. that brings up some wonderment on what happened ,why etc. WHEN I was growing up we would find a lot more old places like this and there was always a lot of stuff left behind also. All the thropies and ribbons have gaited horses on them.I have been in may of thise barns .These are just as fancy doday. take us through more.

These uploads are always emotional to watch the places that were once much cared for , adored and loved by there owners.

It obviously was once a top tier place
I just read that someone or more than one person was killed or murdered there ? So I think I would give that place a miss ??
Maybe a big group could rent it before the place falls apart even more. Indoor arena, swimming pool. Amazing.
@@SuperLuciaandrade where did you read that? I read it once belonged to John carino
Please find out about the owners and what happened
I can just imagine how beautiful this house was when it was new and pristine.
You two get it! 💕💕
I’m shocked at the lack of comments referring to what he should truly be focused on - would have been a more interesting video.

That house I swear had no rhyme or reason to it. Just so many rooms everywhere. That was just wow. Great find!!!
My house is stuck in the sixties too. Finally had to replace the kitchen stove a few years ago but it was a great stove for years. Still pink tile in the bathrooms but it's paid for. Lol 😆
That's a blessing. It's yours
KC. I'm with you. If it is still working why replace it. It coats money. Who care what colour things are. Good it is paid off. I like older appliances too. What a property!!! Fantastic explore Brent!! This place is massive.. That old hot tub. and taps.. Duncan Phyfe drop leave table as a tv stand... loll.. Thanks for taking us along!!
I noticed that!! We had one growing up....
What was the crime there?
Hello Brent !I love how big the kitchen is. Power and water is probably on because it is still used for training . I love this house
Looks confortable, but of poor quality, and overpriced, of course. After all, its North America.🤣
Vet lab, barn manager’s quarters, exhibition room for owners. What a great barn , ring, washout, and stalls. I can’t believe it’s being torn down...
Me too. And who wouldnt want their ribbons & trophies?!

One of the most awesome abandoned places I've ever seen by far.Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Ugh when I see places like this. My mind goes crazy with possibilities. Turn the barn into an indoor skate/bike park, the house into a hospice house. Great find! I love how it hasn't been tagged.
I like your hospice house idea. As for the stable, I think that it should be used as a stable for horses trained to be ridden by disabled kids…
Hi Brent
WOW From the outside the house doesn’t look that big, but it is HUGE. I like that house, it has
everything, an indoor pool, a horse farm and much more. Either someone was murdered or
this place was a practice sight for the police and firemen. Those bullets were scary to see
at a residential home. That apartment up in the arena must have been for the caretaker of
the horses. It’s a shame they didn’t take all those trophies with them. Also it looks like
they replaced half of the roof. The one half looks prefect and the other one looks like
it’s ready to cave in. This house was a good find on your part. wonder
aren’t you a little afraid to go to these places alone?? You never know it there are
squatters living there.
Oh yeah I wonder that too ..I wouldn’t go to places alone
Looks like the house is actually a riding club 😊
@@southernparadise9896 my thoughts precisely.
For some reason it's abandoned. Government ie; law enforcement agencies, armed forces(?), federal agencies.. Or SWAT? Simulations ?? What're your thoughts?
No bullet holes in the walls which I find odd?
It's so upsetting to see such a magnificent home go to waste especially when there are so many homeless people in the world. 😢

There’s so much more to the homeless problem. Drugs & alcohol have ruined so many people.

My thoughts as well. Not to mention, all the lovely fixtures, doors, windows, etc that could be repurposed. Habitat For Humanity Restore could profit to build new homes for people. Instead, it will all be added to the earth’s trash and in this case, the beautiful wilderness will become an industrial park.😡
@speez71 I’ve seen the city give them a whole to stay in hotel and they destroyed it
That place must've been mighty grand back in it's day.

The first thing I thought was a homeless person could live there! Thank you for the video!
The show ribbons said 2013… makes you wonder..
Those stalls inside the arena were horrible though, no entertainment views or fresh air.
A great find and explore (as usual) Brent! What an awesome place! One can't help but wonder what happened to the owners/occupants - but as you've identified, most of the stuff had been taken... It would have been quite the property in its day.
Thanks for taking us along on this adventure Brent!!
Total awesomeness! Thanks for taking me on your tour.
Incredible find!! Where do you find these places?? I can see why they would use it for training purposes. Thanks for sharing.

Mostly Ontario and BC, beautiful places
Awesome place. Your videos are like little films. You take so much pride and really treat property with respect. Have a great night
Thx.
Developer let the police use it for training until they demolish it
This was a unique explore! Most equisetum centers have been around for years and continue for generations. Tough to find one abandoned.

You are so respectful of these places that you share with us.
Hey, Brent nice to see you! The hole in the wall 25:02 was probably from a breach charge when the police were doing their training, could have assigned someone to clean up the mess.

Can you please tell us more history of this place than?
Please share w/ us . I hope you have good memories of your riding there . The farm I managed is no longer , due to the owner's advanced age ; altho' still reasonably maintained , it looks sad w/out the horses & activities .

I got to say this is one of your better explorers. The house is definitely older but I bet it was really beautiful in its day I love the horse barn that could still be used if someone just went in there and kind of cleaned it up and and stuff I hope it don't get tore down but I'm sure that's probably what'll happen. But good explore.
I didn't fully comprehend the depth and size of the pool until you were in it....then it was just WOW
Beautiful home and land...hopefully someone will see this video and buy it and restore it back to it's glory days.
Awesome exploration! The upstairs apartment was a really cool find! The whole place though was pretty amazing.

So you had planned to see this place? How did you know about it?

Very interesting place. I always wish I could restore places like that and make them beautiful and useful once again.
the more you have the more you have to care for ---- lots of work.
Amazing ... its just unthinkable that someone could abandon such a place without it being taken over . Makes one wonder, what might have happened there. I have a feeling something horrific took place for it to be left as it was. Would be interesting to know more behind the reasoning.
Yes did he ever say what crime was committed there?

A lot of some of the older barns were built like that. that brings up some wonderment on what happened ,why etc. WHEN I was growing up we would find a lot more old places like this and there was always a lot of stuff left behind also.
