    I have a very, very dangerous 23gm hognose. Milo always thinks I’m food unless I put lotion on my hands. I get him off my fingers right away so I’ve never had a problem. On days when it’s not his turn to have the brain cell that all hognose share he actually will try to launch himself out of his enclosure. He doesn’t bite me when I catch him from falling. 😊 love your channel. ❤

    Kevin McCulry did a cool video on boiga venom where he allowed one to maintain a bite on his arm for nitety seconds or one-twenty seconds or something, a long ass time for a snake bite. The effects weren't at all devastating, even from that significant envenomation.

    Probably our most "venomous" animals are our cats. Almost all cats have Pasteurella multocida in their mouths. Get bitten while medicating or grooming and you will be going to the doc to get amoxicillin. I once needed IV antibiotics for an accidental bite to a finger joint. That was fun. Um, "fun." Great night in the ER.... Other than that a tortoise who probably carries salmonella but we always wash hands after handling him and have had no issues.

  • @CatDragon2
    @CatDragon2 25 днів тому

    I only have cats. They could potentially be quite dangerous tho, the bacterias on their claws and teeths are NASTY, and their bites especially can put these bacterias deep into the skin and it's quite common to develop an abcess from them. However, my cats are the cutest little angels (there's almost no sarcasm here 🙄) so on a dangerousness level I would rate them a 2 out of 10.
    Also, 1:24 TOXICOGNATHS! (I watch Clint too much, sorry)

    My most “dangerous” snake is a baby hognose with the world’s biggest attitude. That sucker has bit me twice and envenomated me one of those times. Got me right on the knuckle of my thumb. And yeah it swole up pretty good but that was about it. Their teeth are surprisingly sharp. I’ve been tagged a few times by other species like boas and pythons. They kinda strike then retreat. Not hognoses. Those guys are fearless and will try to eat anything regardless of its size 😂

    A bite from a hog nose won't even be equivalent to a bee sting unless you allow it to chew on you.

    Most venomous creature I have messed with was in Oklahoma I didn’t own it, I didn’t actually mess with it I was putting my soda down next to the couch and there was one on it and it stung me. lol I had the feeling as if I had gone to a dentist and he over did it with the Novacaine for 3 whole days of over doing it. It was horrible it tasting food, and the sting site on my arm hurt like crazy for a day but I think the numbing kicked in there also. lol yes my hand was numb for a couple days, fun times. lol tfs

    "Directors of HOAs"; we see what you did there. Also, don't lick toads, etc. I mean really, the extent people will go to for a 'high' is just disgusting, and potentially fatal.

    Where's the comment where someone said he got bit by his hognose snake but nothing happened?

    Anyone in the comments here after he said don't eat frogs don't put them in any of your offices does anyone suddenly want to watch The princess and the frog... If you haven't seen it when Tiana and I mean were frogs there was these Hicks that were trying to catch them to eat their legs...

    One adult dart frog that you mentioned can kill 20 people with the poison, and you're only one person.

    The most dangerous animal I have is canis familiaris. I have two, but so far the closest I have come to being bitten is geting a finger nipped at treat time. Didn't even break the skin.

      What's that? It sounds like some kind of dog species?

      @@jasonirelan-ig5fl Canis familiaris is the domestic dog. All dogs, from a pug to Great Dane are canis familiaris.

    4:33 you made this mistake in a previous video. That’s a western green mamba, not a boomslang

    16:52 better idea.
    How about we don't put our animals in our mouths and other places that can get us or our animals sick? Just food for thought. Tho dart frogs look like lil cute jumping jelly beans or jolly ranchers
