good lord guys, could this have come with a tear warning!? Brutal, epic and beautiful all in one go. I am in awe of anyone who can complete 100 miles, let alone in a cut off time. Ultimately you smashed it and Victoria, your "realness" on camera of how you really felt was heartfelt and a true testament to how hard you must have dug deep to get that done. HUGE well done!! x

That’s really kind of you to say Andy thank you. There’s a strange attraction to TP100. I much prefer hills but that’s three times on the start line of TP now so I must like it in a way!!
Hi Stephen, quick question. I'm contemplating doing my first 100 mile event in 2025. Out of all the Centurion 100's on offer which one would you recommend would be the best to do first? I'm looking at the TP 100 and the SDW 100 as my top two however I'd appreciate your feedback from all your experiences. Thank You 🙂 And a MASSIVE well down to Victoria she really is inspirational!
@@FilmMyRun Thank you so much for getting back to me. I did this years 50 for the first time and swore I'd never do it again 🤣 However I'm already getting that bug to go again 🤣
@paulmulks thank you for your kind words. If it’s any consolation, SDW50 2022 was my first 50. On the last climb, I knew I never wanted to attempt 100 miles! 😂 I agree with Stephen, SDW100 is the nicest. Also, you’ve done the 50 so know what to expect in the second half. Good luck!
Hey guys, congratulations!!! As an Australian coming come over to do this next year, did you find the course well marked? I won't have a pacer. Are there enough runners around to not feel too alone? Thanks in advance.
Hi Jane. Centurion races are always extremely well marked yes. I will be volunteering next year so I will see you there. There will be plenty of runners around although it won’t feel crowded apart from at the start.
Thank you so much for the info. I'm a bit worried about running through the night and getting lost, but hopefully I can join up with other runners during this time. Hope to you see you out there. 😊
@janerushton2324 thank you 😊 As Stephen said, the course is well marked. However, I think it would be easy to buddy up with people for the night section. Good luck, I hope you enjoy the route.
I'm not 100% sure, but did you get some new earphones? 😂 TP100 was hard work, the mud was a bit of a mare and I picked up an injury which meant I had the hike the last 13 miles. Made it in just under 24hrs, but reckon I'm about 50:50 for SDW100 so the slam may go out the window. May see you at Matterley Bowl...
Layers and layers of inspiration from both of you - which is a standard Cousins thing. After 3 marathons in three different countries and then this - epic! By the way did I see you have some new headphones? 😉
Headphones, headphones….no. No I didn’t see any new headphones anywhere!! Oh hang on THOSE headphones, yes well spotted. Do you think I should have mentioned them in the video??
A marvellous achievement! Well done for completing an incredibly tough challenge, and for sharing it with us! I hope you're both feeling much better now and that Victoria is recovering well. The question is: Will she sign up for another one?
@@chrisarnell1 hey Chris. It totally depends on the weather. I will be wearing my Hoka Speedgoat 5s regardless but if it’s a dry day you could get away with road shoes definitely. It’s mostly hard pack path or grassy soft trail. Only a slight chance of mud in some sections.
I love watching these videos. I found Victoria’s steely determination so wonderful and inspiring! I have a question: I started running January 2022 aged 45. I recently did my first two marathons - Manchester 3:35 and Leeds 4:11 (hilly, hot, so tough). I have a couple of 50k ultras in the summer then Thames 100 kilometre in sept. If all that goes ok, do you think it’s too soon to give the Thames 100 miler a bash in 2024? I’m excited to try but also trying to be sensible as I want running to be a lifestyle for the rest of my life. Thanks so much and, again, huge congratulations👍👍👍
Hey Conrad! Thank you for your kind words. If all your plans go ok then yes I think you could give the 100 a try. You’ll have had some experience of the flat nature of the path with the 100k so hopefully you’ll have worked out a strategy for dealing with it. It’s not the easiest 100 miler and deserves your respect. But I’m sure you can give it a shot in 2024.

Absolutely amazing. Well done both of you!
Thanks as always Nono
I'm not 100% sure, but did you get some new earphones? 😂
TP100 was hard work, the mud was a bit of a mare and I picked up an injury which meant I had the hike the last 13 miles. Made it in just under 24hrs, but reckon I'm about 50:50 for SDW100 so the slam may go out the window. May see you at Matterley Bowl...
Did I not mention the new headphones?? I was sure I had. 😂
Anyway I hope you make it to the start of SDW!
@@FilmMyRun hopefully! Congrats to Victoria on her finish, she toughed it out. Many didn't!
Well done. I hope you’ve recovered well and get to the start line of SDW100.
EPIC!
Thank you Gary. That was not the word Victoria used at the end!!!
Fantastic running and perseverance. Any top tips for someone doing their first 100 in 3 weeks time Victoria?
Thank you. My top tips are to look after your feet and your stomach. I experienced issues with both! Good luck with your 100!
been looking forward to watching this one 👍😊
Thanks Jason. Got to get the SDW100 video edited now!
Everything Hurts! Should be the brand name for Ultra Runners apparel
Ok that is actually not a bad idea!
someone is cutting onions here
A marvellous achievement! Well done for completing an incredibly tough challenge, and for sharing it with us! I hope you're both feeling much better now and that Victoria is recovering well. The question is: Will she sign up for another one?
Appreciate that Chris. I will be at the start line of the SDW100…..as for Victoria, we’ll let’s just wait and see
@@FilmMyRun Random question for SDW. Is it trail or road shoe terrain? I'm thinking trail but haven't been there before.
@@FilmMyRun Thank you! I'm going out there this weekend - Winchester to Brighton hopefully.
Well done Super women 💪💪
Thanks……wait you mean Victoria don’t you….
@@FilmMyRun Actually well done both of you that's amazing
I’m not crying, you’re crying!!!
@@FilmMyRun I’ll see how the 100k goes. Excited tho! You and Victoria have inspired me
@@FilmMyRun which leads me to wonder… which is the ‘easiest’ 100 miler?!
Stephen’s PB is at SDW100. He assures me that course is easier than TP100!
@@victoriac2134 how can that be?! Aren’t there, like, loads of hills?! 😂
I missed Richard 😂 I was wondering what happened to him.
He’s back!! He’s been injured for almost 2 years! But we think he’s over it now. Fingers crossed he’s back for good.
Wow that's alot of mud 😕
Mud? Oh I didn’t notice any…..
